We stopped by today for take out on our way to our camp in Cook’s Forest. It’s been quite awhile since we have stopped here. We were very pleasantly surprised by the large portions and quality of the food. This is comfort food at its best. The homemade dinner rolls were incredible.
The staff I encountered were really sweet and took good care with our order.
As our family and extended family are up this way almost monthly, we will be sure to stop back more often.

1st time at this restaurants breakfast buffet it was decent and we would likely go again, when we visit the area. There was a good selection of food. Based on taste and texture I would say the eggs were out of a carton versus fresh, but they had peppers and onions along with cheese sauce, so once they were doctored up were tasty. They had sausage(phenomenal tasting), bacon which was crispy, it tasted fine, but I prefer it be cooked a little less. Everybody has different tastes. They had ham, smoked polish sausage with mini pierogies, french toast sticks, pancakes(apple and strawberry toppings along with syrup), cheesy potatoes with ham and biscuits and gravy. There was some fruit as well-cantaloupe, honeydew melon and grapes. You order your beverage from the wait staff before going up to the buffet or you can order something from the menu if the buffet isn’t your thing. The waitress was very nice when serving our drinks and taking away our used plates. I would like to suggest an omelette station, maybe waffles? I would be willing to do pay a little more for those things. Great job to all the workers. The food was hot and fresh and stocked nicely.

I can’t say enough good things about this place. I literally travel all the way from Florida and make it a point to eat here every time I’m in Pennsylvania — it’s that good.
The food is always fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. Every dish I’ve tried has been consistently delicious, and you can tell they don’t cut corners on quality. The atmosphere is welcoming and comfortable, whether you’re there for a casual meal or a special night out.
What really makes this restaurant stand out, though, is the service. The staff is friendly, attentive, and makes you feel genuinely appreciated as a guest. The owners are even better always going out of their way to make sure everything is perfect!
If you’re anywhere nearby, do yourself a favor and go. I’d travel the miles again in a heartbeat just for another meal here.

We drive two hours to spend time with family a couple times a year and always make a stop at A&M. Highly recommend the breakfast buffet on the weekends, one of our absolute favorites. There is something for everyone and very kid friendly! I’ve never been to such a clean, well stocked, hot buffet. Another plus is most of the meat is locally sourced right here in Pennsylvania! We love A&M and their great ownership! We will be back soon!

This was a takeout order. The food and service were fantastic. Everything was thoughtfully packaged as well, which was greatly appreciated. Only downside was I visited during the week and cinnamon rolls are only available on the weekends. Staff mentioned they go fast but can be pre-ordered so keep that in mind if you’re wanting to try them.

This is a local diner type restaurant. Great for breakfast. Pretty large varied menu. Excellent home made pies and rolls. Can be busy mid-day Sunday with after church crowd and summer weekends with tourists but even then wait is very short. If there are 50 cars or less in the parking lot (normal) – expect no wait. Artwork on the walls are of Brookville. Clientele are folks in suits to construction workers to families with kids to tourists/ travelers on 80. Service is fast and friendly. With large crowds – it is remarkably quieter than expected due perhaps to the high ceilings. Get a pie to go. For holidays, baked goods need ordered in advance.

We like to be surprised by restaurant and this was one of them. We stopped at this restaurant on our way back home from Erie. It was a nice familly restaurant with great choice of familly type food. I had a liver and onions, rare to find at a restaurant and it was good. The plate was big also. I took some back home. Nice country style familly restaurant. I recommend it.

We came for a buffet that is clearly listed online and everyone is ranting about and come to this restaurant for the first time with very high hopes and have come to find out that they don’t do buffet only on basically holidays or special occasions trash ownership will never be back and I live near here very disappointed with a regular menu that everyone sells and has the samethings was hoping for new and innovative things not regular same old thing definitely not what was expected. And the seats are wore out that the person behind u moves a hair ur being moved badly too.
