This was my first time coming here, and overall, it was a great experience. There is adequate parking space outside, and the seating area is decent, though after about 7 or 8 families, it might start to fill up. The prices were sa little on the higher end.
The host was very kind, respectful, and courteous, which made a great first impression. We ordered the beef and chicken shawarma, chicken shish tawook, and half leg chicken. The service time from ordering to serving was very quick.
The food was excellent, fresh, flavorful, and healthy, just like any other good Middle Eastern food should be. The fatoush salad was especially my favorite. I will definitely recommend this place and will be coming back again.

I ordered the beef shawarma to go. I hesitated to leave this review but reading through I saw that someone else had the same experience. The beef was extremely dry and hard, literally no shawarma flavor at all, I have never been more disappointed in a meal specifically since this plus an appetizer cost me $38. I suggest adding more flavor to the meat and not serving old dry unflavored meat to customers

The food was really high quality! The muhammara was my favorite side as it has so much flavor. The falafel was great too. All around amazing option for a vegan or vegetarian! Great value for the price and amount of food and variety

My boyfriend and I are from houston and came in to try it on our way back home and this place did not disappoint. What they lack in atmosphere they make up for in the sheer deliciousness the food is! Everything is ate was amazing a must try and one of the best places to eat in Dallas!

My husband is Syrian, and sometimes we really miss traditional Syrian food. We found this restaurant and were very happy with our experience.
We enjoyed the food so much that we even ordered some to take home, and I truly enjoyed eating it later as well. The restaurant itself is small and cozy, with a very pleasant atmosphere. The food is flavorful and enjoyable — maybe not exactly like in Syria, but still very good.
We left satisfied and wish the restaurant great success, many customers, and continued growth. We hope they keep improving and delighting their guests with even more delicious dishes.

The food was very plain and unflavored. The shawarma tasted like nothing and their “garlic sauce” was a sad excuse. It tasted like bland mayo with a little bit of garlic powder mixed in. The fries were good and fresh, but other than that- nahhhh. I know what a good flavorful shawarma is and this was not it- especially for the price. I also think the customer service can be better too, and it’s very uncouth of them to ask for a tip before any actual service was given. I was really looking forward to trying this place out but the environment felt really deterring

We visited ALZARRAD in Dallas last Friday (11/26) while traveling from Oklahoma — a couple with four kids. It truly felt like a family-owned business — the people were kind and the food was very good.
The only small issue was that one shawarma was missed from our order (it can happen anywhere, especially with a large family order). They serve items as soon as they’re ready so food stays hot, which is great, but I can see how that could sometimes make it harder to keep track of the exact count.
They offered to make it right, but we chose not to accept it because we didn’t want it to feel like a “gift” instead of an item we paid for. Overall, we had a positive experience and genuinely wish them success. God bless.
