Came early for lunch, was quiet but fulled up fast. Alysa’s food portions are really good and flavour is great. Service is efficient and relatively quick. The restaurant is very clean With tables for 2-6+.

I have never been here before but I always have seen it busy. So I said I’m hungry and I’m going to try this place. Let me tell you the food here is amazing it’s fresh and the taste is out of the world. I had the spicy Lemmon grass beef pho soup and wow. All I’m going to say is you have some here. It is well worth it.

Went for dinner today and the service was very slow considering only 3 tables at 5:00PM. More concerned with pick up orders. The spring rolls tasted off and pretty $$$. The Pho was ok but won’t be back.

First time trying the meat loaf and it did not disappoint, the whole dish was well balanced and the portion is very generous. Their Alysa’s special Banh Mi is very good.

It’s soso-okay. I order three dishes, so I cannot comment on other dishes.
1. Chicken “wings”, those are Superstore frozen wings, reheated or deep fried. 100% superstore made because I buy those chicken pieces all the time. It’s not all wings, there are occasional chicken leg pieces.
2. Beef soup pho. My wife loves it, she said it’s good. But I would argue that the pho is too soft/soaked. Only me, I like tender texture. So, I’m not saying it’s bad, but if you like softer pho, this is for you. We also ordered additional pho, which cost us $5, made me really unhappy. Plus, the additional pho was tender, but the pho is too hard. There are two types of pho, they are using the harder kind.
3. Beef sandwich. Best sandwich ever. Crispy outside and hot inside. Best taste and good combination with carrots. I recommend this to everyone who eat there.

I regretted that I ordered additional pho, I should’ve just ordered another beef sandwich.

Positive: fast service. Nice clean restaurant with a separate entrance for takeout. Classic vitnamese menu. Pho soup was good.

Cons: $$$$ for what you get. Pho was more noodles with barely any meat (compared to the many other places I have reviewed)..

Vietnamese friends bulk at the prices and how the dishes were made…$20 for regular sized pho for example.

Noodles was over cooked and bloated. even though spring rolls was big, it was mostly noodles and way too $$$$ for what you get.

Dried vernacelli noodles were prep/cut in a way that it was harder to use a chopstick than a fork…never seen my vietnamese friend gets mad at a dish…

Overall, we were really disappointed, particularly with how the dishes were made and how expensive they were.

At those prices, it should be better compared to others.

Food for thought: The restaurant is still adjusting. Interior is tight with many chairs and tables as possible. Great for family and kids. Especially great for wheelchair accessible.

We think this place was meant for certain demographics in mind, especially with broadmead lodge close by.

Will return in a year to see if there is any improvement.

We were pleasantly surprised by this place. Truly not a better priced Pho in the area. The size was HUGE and it was delicious. We will definitely beback. The place itself is very low-key a decorated modestly. Nothing fancy here, just good quality, well priced food.

I am a HUGE fan of the Quadra location and was so happy to hear that a second location opened up closer to where I live.

As a Vietnamese daughter who lives away from her father, Alysa’s Pho tastes the closest to my family’s pho and it cures the homesickness.

The new location is no different. Same great taste, quality and service. And it’s SUPER cute inside. Can’t express how amazing the food is!
