Extremely disappointed, especially for the prices charged.
The Alykat sub was ordered toasted but came out soggy with warm lettuce and tomato, no mayo or mustard that was requested, and bread that tasted microwaved rather than properly toasted. The potato salad was bland and overwhelmed with mayonnaise.
The Philly cheesesteak was excessively greasy and soaked through the bread, making it chewy and inedible. Both sandwiches suffered from the same soggy texture, suggesting poor preparation.
Charging premium prices for food of this quality is unacceptable. The excessive use of Styrofoam and plastic was also concerning. I hope the business seriously re-evaluates food preparation and quality control.

Building needs work and the food smelled weird inside. I picked up my order – just a sub with turkey, cheese, lettuce, tomato, onion. $14.44 is too expensive for what appears to be an 8 inch sub. Get to my office and try it. Meat is slimy and disgusting. Ate ½ after removing the meat. Picked up the next half and there’s a hair under the meat. Absolutely disgusting. I would like a refund. I’ll return ½ the sub and all the meat! It’s wrapped up on my desk… I hope I don’t get sick tonight!

Ordered a full club sub and a chocolate chip cookie. I saw prices on Google maps photos, but they were much more expensive. After tax it was $17.81. Sub was about 10 inches long and just very average quality. The cookie was great tho! I read that each sub comes with chips and a pickle, but when I got home and looked in the bag, no pickle. Overall, good cookie + average sub taste + small sub size = $17.81… Not worth it.

I chose this place for lunch because their menu online was very affordable. I ordered over the phone and it took over 20 minutes for the sandwich to be ready. I didn’t mind that but I did mind being charged almost double what the cost was online. They didn’t have what I wanted and then charged me extra for it. The sandwich was pretty small too. I regret going there instead of somewhere else.

So sorry to hear that even a few reviews are bad, been going for probably 15 years and there hasn’t been a single time I’ve been where the sandwiches and soup haven’t been amazing. The soft pillowy bread is the perfect texture and combination with the turkey lettuce tomato and of course mayo mixed with the oregano secret spice! (Man im dying to know what’s in it) Some of the best sandwiches I’ve ever had, if you’ve been open since 1974 I hope yall stay open until 2074. Only thing I wish was different was the prices are starting to get a little high, we’d go a lot more if it wasn’t for that.

Been eating here since I was a child. Different location now a days but still serving great deli sandwiches. Best deli in Hendersonville NC.

Great local place. I didn’t go for the longest time because they only accepted cash until somewhat recently.
Brisket sandwich on an onion roll with bbq sauce and Cole slaw was incredible. 12/10
My husband’s Cuban sandwich was also fantastic.
Salted caramel cookie was a little bland. 6/10
Prices are very fair and staff is friendly and welcoming. I’ll definitely be back to try the rest of the menu!

Quick, friendly service with delicious food. The spinach and kale salad was very generous and so, so good.

The turkey sandwich is absolutely disgusting. I think they must use the absolute cheapest turkey possible from a grocery store, slimy and very thin. Though the person I was with ordered grill cheese and it was good.
