Had lunch here today, chicken parmigana. It came with pasta and either a salad or soup. Good portion size. I was in a bit of a rush, but I didn’t mention it to the server. Nonetheless, my food came out very quickly, for which I was grateful. The server, Ivannia, was very pleasant and professional. The only negative I have is that I ordered a Coke, which came in a regular 12oz can. The charge was $3.20 for that can of soda. Frankly, that is over charging and unnecessary in my opinion.

Have been here several times since they opened back up as new owners and the food ambiance and service is outstanding. Much friendlier than the past. The staff is super friendly and always a pleasure to go in and have a meal. A nice modern diner and very welcoming!! New delicious menu.

The food is absolutely atrocious, everything is either completely over cooked, extremely dry, OLD, veggies are not fresh, bacon tastes like it’s from 4 days ago and just reheated, avoid eating here at all costs. We got an omelette that was so bad I gagged. We got the lox sandwich and the salmon was soaking wet when it came out, stale bread and they don’t even put the cream cheese on — they give you a container of cream cheese to put yourself. Server was nice and the place is cute but I would eat here again even if I was starving. Absolutely disgusting.

My fiancée and I have been coming to Alya’s for awhile now. I cannot say enough great things about this diner. The food is great, the service is even better. The place is so clean and organized. It’s definitely our go-to on Sunday mornings. We love this place.

Came here for a quick lunch yesterday when I was starving and decided to order a comfort meal: chicken fingers and fries. Wait time wasn’t bad. Unfortunately the chicken fingers were the frozen kind, which is really disappointing. I love diner chicken fingers when done right! Besides that the staff was nice and all seemed to get along & looked happy to be working there.
