Wouldn’t go back. Ordered a bacon cheeseburger and a chicken wrap. The wrap was passable and the burger was just meh. The side of tots we ordered was cold, damp and was about half of a normal portion. We paid extra (around $2.50 I think) for 7 small tater tots. The potato wedges were also luke-warm and soggy. We didn’t eat either of the sides. Our sodas were not filled (left about 1/5th of the cup empty) and the service was terribly slow. The cost is also very pricey compared to other places in the area. The ketchup bottles on the table were greasy and sticky, like they’ve never been cleaned. The bathrooms were half out of service and cobbled together with plywood stalls which don’t lock. The overall atmosphere was just meh. Drop ceiling tiles were rusted and moldy, air vents filthy with dust. Not a good experience.

Been coming here for years… Best burgers in the area. Tastes like home! And you’ve got to try their taco salads. So awesome… Alton wouldn’t be Alton without Burger Palace!

Food was perfect! Everyone, including my 4 kids, ate all of their food and left with full bellies! Staff was great too. We always stop at Burger Palace when in Alton!

Not many options in town so a standby in Alton, but not worth a special trip if it’s for the burger. It was clean, but my large order of tots was not any bigger than my friends regular size, I had the double jumbo burger with bacon, with was decent and filling, but seemed to lack the flavor of other burgers I have had. The best thing was the milkshake.

DELICIOUS. Friendly, fast service. Love the small town burger joints. The best food that you can get hands down. The french fries are crispy & wonderful. Burgers are JUST excellent. && the milkshakes WOW, they are killer!

Stopped in during my first long motorcycle trip. It was cool oasis on a hot Sunday. The burgers and fries were delicious. Next time, I will add a sundae.

Fried chicken is amazing,so are a few of the other items. Some of the prices are very high tho, depends on what you order. Sometimes there’s a bit of a wait as well, but overall it’s a decent place to eat.
