Fantastic customer service! We really appreciate the manager Mark for going out of his was to correct a minor issue with a missing item on our order this evening. Not only did he remedy the issue but he went above and beyond our expectations. Food was spectacular. Best pizza and jojos we’ve had in a long time. Killer cannolis too!! Highly recommended. He surely sealed our new favorite pizza spot.

Decided to try a new pizza place after a few bad experiences in the area. Happy I did because it’s one of my best food experiences since moving to Akron.
Ordered the Broccoli Alfredo pizza and everything tasted fresh. Nice size pieces of broccoli, seasoned chicken and good tasting sauce.
Chicken was moist and crispy and JoJos were cooked perfectly.
Will definitely go back and HIGHLY recommend

I forgot to take a picture of my food because it was so fantastic. I ordered the spaghetti and meatballs with a side salad that came with two garlic knots. Their meatballs are better than spaghetti Warehouse anywhere in Akron. As far as I’m concerned, I’m very picky. I’ve been looking at ordering spaghetti meatballs from them for a long time. Finally decided to pull the trigger and was beyond impressed. It was an incredible meal. Thank you Altieri’s! The tallmadge staff was exceptional with information, advice and honesty. Will definitely be ordering again. Maybe daily…

I grew up in Stow. That means that I grew up with Altieri’s pizza. Delicious!! My job allows me to travel throughout the continental United States and I still list Altieris pizza as the best. (Chicken is also fantastic, although I’m not a Jo Jo’s fan). I hope this new location in Tallmadge does well. If you haven’t tried this pizza yet, you will be glad you did!

My favorite pizzas were always Gionino’s Tallmadge and Guiseppe’s caston rd Akron until last week. I went to Gioninos and they were closing , dang I was so hungry for their pizza . Reluctantly I went to Alterios at the circle in Tallmadge When I went to pick them up Sumner – gen mgr- was there and I advised her I had never been there before but my favorite place was closed. She smiled and said I bet this will be when you try it- I smh in disbelief. I ordered 2 small pizzas dropped one off at my sisters. Ohmygosh , my sister called me before I made it home raving “best pizza she ever ate”! She was right – lil bit of deliciousness right there – now MY “hands down” favorite pizza. Went back Sunday and ordered another small pizza and a large antipasto salad – check out the pictures , cut the coupons from Tallmadge town planner and treat yourself to the BEST pizza – I know I know, hard to believe , but I swear you’ll be a believer after your very first bite ! MAMA MIA ! C

Delicious pizza! Had a deep dish Hawaiian for my husband and a gluten free riconi pizza for myself. So many choices here and they are all very tasty! It’s wonderful that they have so many gluten free options, too!

**update at end on review- This was by far the worst customer service I received in a long time. I placed my order of a small pizza and Thursday’s sub special approx 5:05 and was told it would be 25 minutes. I arrived a few minutes before 5:30. I was told they were waiting on my chicken sub and my pizza was already sitting under the heat lamp. 8 other people came in/out for their orders while I waited for a simple chicken sub. At 5:55 I approached the counter and a girl said they are wrapping it up now. I told her it was ridiculous to have to wait that long for a simple sandwich while my pizza sat 25 minutes under a heat lamp. All I got was “we are short staff” (mind you there were 4 other workers there), and she apologized. I said that’s not good enough. I didn’t want a pizza that had been sitting for that long. Another worker brought up the sub as we talked, I asked where was the jojo’s and cole slaw. They were not made. Again, another excuse that the order taker did not ring it up as the “Thursday special”. She said, I could wait for an order of jojo’s to be cook and could remake the pizza which would take another 20-25 minutes. I again voiced my displeasure “that wasn’t good enough and should be compensated”. Instead of comp-ing my order and offering me the sandwich at a discount she said she can refund me my $ 16 order (which she had to ask a coworker how to do that). It’s a shame they probably ended up throwing it away. I asked for manager name and phone number and wasn’t given it. If this had happened at the Stow Rd location, it would of been handled properly and at least I could of got a sample slice of the Oct pizza special and been comp’d the meal. Meanwhile, myself and two kids ended up eating cereal for dinner. Very poor job and customer service skills. ** The next day the GM reach out to me personally and offered to make my next experience better. I appreciate this gesture and will give them a second chance soon.

I’d give a 5* for the gluten free white pizza & 1* for the chicken. Wish I took a photo but the pizza had a thin-like crust, normal amount of white sauce & a tasty cheese that was potent and bitter. I ordered chicken on a separate occasion to try the sauce recommended in the reviews but I couldn’t taste it given the amount of it was next to none. Solid 3* Don’t know if I’d go back

Big fan of Altieri’s OG , had to make the trip to try out the new store. Super cute inside, the staff was super friendly.
The pizza was as good as always, and your gluten free crust (and gf canolli) is second to none in my eyes.

My brother called in order to go. He ordered 2 Baked Spaghetti Dinners with Meatballs. We get there to pick up our meals and we were given 2 pizzas with spaghetti on them. Was told they could remake our order but it would take some time and we would have to wait. We didn’t have time to wait – after all, you had already inconvenienced us by getting the order wrong and now you want to inconvenience us more by making us wait. We took the pizzas because we needed to eat and were limited on time. We were not offered any discount or how about free dessert for your error ? We will not set foot in your establishment again. This should have been handled in a much better manner.
