Hint for the non-Spanish speakers – bring your Spanish dictionary along to navigate the menu ;). The food is delicious. If not the best Mexican food I’ve ever eaten, it’s certainly in the conversation. We had the Enchilada Verdes de Pollo, Sopes (Pollo), Gordita (Pollo), and Taco (Asada). Every serving hit the mark – absolutely delicious and authentic. The lime soda and tamarind soda added a nice touch to the meal.

The food was excellent, but my disappointment was the dismissive attitude towards the customer. I noticed I made an error in one of the items I ordered so I quickly returned to the counter to ask if I could change it and I got a “your food is already being made” without actually checking with the cook to see if it could be changed. I was okay with the item I accidentally ordered, but was disappointed with the lack of care for my request. I recommend it as long as you’re okay with not feeling like a valued customer. The food really was very good so I’m going to miss not visiting this place again.

Total was $35 for 3 tacos, a torta sandwich, the prepared Doritos, the cup of corn, and a drink.

Authentic Mexican cuisine. Made to order with fresh ingredients. Quick service, large portions and very reasonable prices. Friendly staff, friends and family type atmosphere. Ideally located with ample parking. If you can’t dine in, their takeout line was nonstop.

After moving back home from Texas, I’ve struggled to find really good authentic Mexican food. Alquisiras Paleteria is some of the best food I’ve ever had! The Birria Tacos were amazing and Tostadas were equally as good. I highly recommend this place!

Best and most authentic Mexican food in Pittsburgh! There is no place like it around! Only a few tables for dine-in, but the food is amazing and you can watch the T go by as you enjoy your meal. Must try! You’ll be hooked.

This is so far the best place I have gotten birria tacos at in Pittsburgh. Obviously not as great as Texas birria tacos, but for sure Mexican approved. We ordered birria tacos and a torta with a large Jamaica drink. The Jamaica tasted authentic not like the powder jamaicas packet. They serve you plenty of food for the price. When I went there wasnt a wait, I also went there 30-40 min before closing and they attended us very well. I have yet to try their selection of Paletas and other sweet snacks. Good Mexican food indeed.

The absolute best Mexican this side of the border. Nothing I’ve had compares to the quality of the food here. Barrias with some Ice cream afterwards and the white drink is one of the best meals around Pittsburgh so filling real comfort food
