I stopped in after reading a local magazine article that praised this place for its sandwiches, and I’m glad I did. The service was fast and friendly, which made a good first impression.
I went with the American sub, and it was excellent. The meat was sliced nice and thin, the provolone added great flavour, and the oil and vinegar tied everything together perfectly.

Great old school subs. Always fresh ingredients, fast service, courteous service, good prices and they have a small selection of pantry goods, one of which is Nottoli italian sausage which is the best around. Whats not to like with a place like that?

Love their Alpine sub. Reasonably priced, always quick service. I haven’t tried much else but the couple other food I’ve tried have also been excellent. Take out only. There might be a table on the parking lot side. Worth the stop or even an extra trip.

This is my first time visiting this location. It dawned on me after looking at the website that I’ve been to the Elmwood Park location! The EP location is bigger & was quite busy; I ordered a turkey sandwich which was good but nothing special. HOWEVER, at this location I went for The Alpine 6” which was mouthwateringly good! I wasn’t sure what capicollo & was told by the smiley staff member that it’s like spicy salami. He wasn’t wrong as it does have a slight spice to it. Friendly service & I thought I got jipped with meat at first glance, but there’s plenty in there!

I wanted to send an email regarding this but there was no way to contact them. I’m a fan of alpine but my roast beef sandwich today was basically all fat. I’m not sure if they’ve switched meat suppliers? It was very disappointing and not at all appetizing. I had to throw about 75% of the meat on my sandwich away. Hoping this was a fluke and not the norm because if it is, I can no longer support this business.

Honestly Average. The bread on the sandwich is kind of tough and tastes like a school lunch. Barely any meat. They should sell more sides such as soups or salads.
