Food and customer service was great. Highly recommend the Lomo Saltado. First time being able to try horchatta too. Unfortunately, they didn’t have a cheesecake I can review. The food was still really good regardless.

The food was really good. The eating area and restaurant area are clean. The staff are available for assisting customers, they move around the seating area which appreciated because we didn’t have to get up. The Cilantro dressing and yellow sauce were our favorite condiments. All of the food tasted fresh. I’d recommend this place and will return when I’m in the area.

I love coming to Alpaca because I genuinely enjoy the food, but today I was truly disappointed. I ordered a lomo saltado with no vegetables. I went to sit down while waiting for my food, and when the lady brought it out, it had vegetables on it. I kindly told her, “Hey, I asked for no vegetables,” and she asked if I had told the cashier. I said yes, so she took it back.
I understand that lomo saltado has sauce, but when the waiter came back, she had to walk very slowly because there was so much sauce on the plate—it was like a soup. I still tried to enjoy it because I don’t like wasting food. On top of that, she proceeded to scold me as if I were her child, which I did not appreciate. On the take out box picture is what it supposed to look like not soupy at all

They don’t pack the soup with consideration. It just spills out in the bag. I’ve ordered here once a week the last two weeks. I always place two orders. Give them 20 minutes get there and they can’t find both orders. Every single time. I’m waiting for orders to be remade after I’ve ordered online. No apology. They don’t feel bad for wasting time and can’t even be polite about it.

They provide a pretty good char chicken over fries with tomatoes and onions. The chicken was flavorful and juicy, service over a small portion of hand cut fries. Alone, they flavors had a nice blend. Adding some of their complimentary sauces provided some nice variety. I really enjoyed the tres leches cake.

I have to say, Alpaca has the mos flavored charcoal chicken in NC. Our Somple Construction Roofing crew loves it. We go there about once or twice a week and my mom always gets a side of Yuca to go. Approved.

If you haven’t tried this place out, you are missing out for sure. The food was incredible! Best Hispanic “fast food” I ever had. The portions were large. The flavor was authentic. The food was served on real ceramic and metal utensils. Its an instant favorite!

We visit Alpaca about three times a week because the food truly is good, but the customer service consistently needs improvement. The menu is also misleading. A half chicken is supposed to include two sides, yet we are always charged an extra 50 cents for each side. Every time we bring this up, no one can clearly explain why. Instead, the staff usually just smiles and continues what they were doing, which feels dismissive.

Another issue is that we joined the rewards program, but not once has anyone asked for our information at checkout, so the points never get applied.

We enjoy the food, but if the customer service doesn’t improve—and if we continue being charged extra for sides that should be included—we will unfortunately stop coming. Good food should be matched with clear communication and respectful, attentive service.

Oh wow! Looking for a place to eat quick. Saw this on the result list. Why not. This place was amazing! If it’s a chain I want one where I’m at. I got the Arroz Chaufa. Others got 1/4 chx w sides: yuca fries Maduro, tostones.
Dang they had Jarritos mango and ginger ale on tap. Never seen that before in a fast food place. Southern thing? Chi cha marada drink too.
Kid3 said what impressed him was when ordering they had a full cooked chicken and they cut it up in front of you for the 1/4 chicken meal.
Awesome atmosphere and music!

Love the food, Detest the employees
After paying 100 hundred dollars for what is in essence good take out, I do not expect attitude from the cashier when I ask for a cup for my kid’s water particularly when they don’t have bottled water. I should not have to sit my family down and return for attitude correction. By attitude correction, I mean to correct hers. When I returned she was far more polite. It was insanely crowded and the last thing anyone needs is attitude after a 20 minute wait in line. We’re done with this location.
