This place has good country food! The hamburger steak was smothered in gravy. The waitress was very attentive. You get 1 meat, 3 sides, and a roll for $14. Desserts come in at another $4. By the time you pay for food and tip, you have spent over $20 for a meal! All that said the food is good!

The food had a pretty good taste. But the fried chicken was barely warm and slightly undercooked making it tough. None of the food was very warm. It was set up like a buffet. 1 meat, 3 sides and a bread. Serve yourself. I probably wouldn’t go back. I wasn’t too impressed.

If I could leave no stars I would. Very, very rude and the buffet system they have isn’t a normal buffet. You pay $14 for 1 meat, 3 sides and bread…additions like another meat or another side cost more and when I asked for clarification from the waitress she was very stern and rude and shook her head as I walked away from her. Don’t waste your time.

Beautiful view from the back dining room. The chopped steak tasted old, my chicken quarter was okay, a bit salty. The mashed potatoes seem like they are instant, same with the gravy. Mac and cheese pretty decent. My greens were not seasoned at all. The rolls were homemade and delicious. Friendly service.

I waited until I have been here a few times to rate it. Everyone is always so friendly and the food is extremely good. I have eaten at a lot of home cooking restaurants all over the country and this is in my top 5 at least. The customers are also so friendly and you can tell this is a family.

Okay food and the view of the river is so cool!! I just didn’t like the attitude the waitress had toward my family. She was nice to everyone else so it wasn’t that she had a bad day. I usually try to understand because I’ve worked in the food industry but there wasn’t anything that could’ve explained her horrible attitude towards us. Felt very racially motivated since we were the only POC there.
