My partner and I have made it a habit to come grab lunch here at least once a week. It’s a cozy place with a nice atmosphere. We both enjoy the food and sweets.

Love, love, loved it! All the flavors in the food was spot on! Staff was so kind, polite, and helpful. Don’t get me started on the deserts! If you are having company over for sweets you want to get it from here!

Staff/service was quick, helpful and nice. The establishment was very clean & beautifully arranged. The soup, brötchen, & fried potatoes tasted amazing & were very well made. Great selection of sweets made the traditional German way. Love the butter hupferl & gingerbread cookies! Highly recommend! Will definitely be back!

I went the other day and got a pound cake with strawberry topping. It was extremely dry, to the point it was comparable to cornbread. Also, while I was eating I heard the owner in the back yelling at staff. Very unwelcoming environment. I won’t be back.
Edit : Due to the ridiculous response by the owner I wanted to add a picture of the extremely dry cake, which I did not eat. I’ve never worked for this woman.

I’m usually a pretty picky eater and don’t branch out much, but my boyfriend loves this place, so he convinced me to give it a try. Turns out, I love it!! We go weekly now lol

Lovely little hidden gem. I bought a slice of handmade cheese cake for $6 what a treat. I plan to go back and try more lovely things. Come check this place out.

I so enjoy going to Ally’s. The cakes are just amazing and delicious and the portions are huge. I tried the Bistro and ordered take-out. My husband and myself enjoyed our meal so much that we will return for more shortly. In addition to great food and sweets, you will find a super nice Ally, always friendly and always has time to greet and talk to her customers. You will also enjoy a clean and neat establishment which makes you feel at home. I love going to Ally.

I’m from out of town and wanted to try this place out. All of the baked goods on display looked good, but the food from the restaurant was not. The bratwurst was basically room temp and the fries were similarly cold and limp. Not worth what I paid for it. Also, I heard the owner berating her employees in the back. Would not recommend dining here.
Edit to respond to the owner:
I was there yesterday ma’am, not today. Also I am confident about what I heard in the kitchen as it made me uncomfortable while finishing my cold meal.

German here ♀️ this reminded me of home. The cheesecake is absolutely amazing. Not as sweet as American cake but just how my mom makes it back in Germany. The bistro food was also very good. We had a sausage sample platter and the goulash. The only thing I’ve noticed was that the food could’ve been a bit warmer.

We have been coming to this bakery for two years. Everything is always amazing! I even get to speak German! I used to live in Germany as an expat. The baked goods are amazing and taste just like in Germany. I haven’t had a chance to try the new bistro yet but hopefully this weekend with family in town.
