I got a vegan chicken sandwich with bam sauce and a plain coconut water. It was so good, definitely some of the best food I’ve had in awhile! The staff was funny and kind. It’s just a hole-in-the-wall type place, nowhere to sit and eat or anything, but the food was worth it. They were out of a few things when I was there, so just make sure you have a backup order in mind 🙂 I don’t live nearby, but if I’m driving through the area again it will be a must-stop.

Gouda Mac and cheese with jerk shrimp and ( real, big chunk) crab was creamy, spicy and satisfying. Peach Cobbler was not too sweet and like my grandma made. Pineapple coconut sugar free lemonade was flavorful and thirst- quenching. Excited to go back and explore the entire menu.

The first time I ordered here it was through door dash. The owner went out of her way to call me and be sure she got my order right. She even threw in a piece of cake since it was my first time ordering. The food is amazing and mostly all cooked from scratch . She has foods that other food places in the area do not even have like the bread pudding!! I love the food here. The mac n cheese is the best ever!! Reading the other reviews that the place has a reputation for being rude was a shock to me. She has always been nice and I have went inside and ordered several times since. Those are just the regular miserable complainers of Cumberland. Expecting way to much from a small business owner doing her best. I will order here first before anywhere else everytime I eat out. !!!!

Finally, after seeing all of the mouth watering pictures online, I was able to stop in and try it for myself. I had the pork bbq sandwich with a side of mac n cheese and it did not disappoint! I love that they have so many vegan options, which are scarce in this area. I never have anywhere to take my daughter when she is in town, I can’t wait for her to try it! My only regret is not being able to come in sooner. PLEASE support small businesses, they depend on word of mouth and advertising (which is expensive) to bring people in the door. The food speaks for itself here, just give it a try….and then tell a friend, because you’ll want to!

Tried the tacos for taco Tuesday and was not disappointed. The chicken, shrimp, and brisket were all great, with my favorite being the brisket. Shrimp had great flavor but more bang for your buck in the other tacos. Friendly staff and decent prices. Call ahead to save time on your pickup order. Would recommend.
