Pleasantly surprised after ordering some takeaway on Friday night. Great portions, great mix of perfectly cooked vegetables in each of the dishes, and amazing flavours in the curries and stir fries. We ordered enough for six people and didn’t have a single compliant from any of us, including one vegetarian. Best Thai restaurant in Hobart!

I went in twice for dinner during my trip to Hobart (Thurs 9th and Fri 10th October). Food was great and the portions were very generous! I really enjoyed the meal.

The waitress that served me on both nights was amazing. Very friendly and attentive – I didn’t catch her name unfortunately but she was great.

The restaurant changed new boss. Feel like a Korean guy. I don’t want to say any bad words, because as a migrant, I knew how hard to run a restaurant overseas. But My husband and I ordered their food. One chicken stir fry, one vegetarian curry. We been waited for a loooong time for their food until my 6 years old son told me he is too hungry. Mt dish came first. And after a while my husband’s. But it was wrong. Not vegetarian at all. So, I told the boss, and the boss brought it back and ask the kitchen cook another one. The curry came much quicker this time. But after eating, the next day, we both badly running belly. It’s hard for my husband work and hurt me a lot when I looking after child. It’s right before flight tomorrow. And we are so worried about our trip. I am thinking, either the restaurant is not clean, or the cook theor trying to revenge their boss. Doesn’t matter for what reason, I am not going there again! It’s different with the original restaurant. Hope their branch in Sandy Bay is still OK…

Very average food, I got the chefs special pad see ew, meat was dry, small portion, way too salty. Ordered Roti which came with no sauce so I ordered satay sauce for extra, the Roti was tiny and I’m 99% sure it was just puff pasty, not Roti at all. Service was the only good part to be fair.

Green curry(Chicken)
Panang curry(Chicken)
Tom yum cauliflower

Nice creamy green curry to warm your tummy. As an Asian it was spicy enough to enjoy. And I really loved zucchinis almost more than chicken. If possible, would like to try again with extra zucchinis. Plus, waitresses are kind and attentive.

Take-out service: food can only be categorised as AWFUL. Pad See Ew as though it was scraped out of one day old lunch servery pan from the daily lunch special. Tasteless, veg not cooked, (carrots and broccoli) and since when is English chard a Thai vegetable; flat noodles were broken up bits, barely discernible in the dish. Chicken old, tough and dry. No sauce to speak of…I felt sorry for my son who paid $21 per dish. Disgusted! They need to pick their game at those prices. No food poisoning so that’s a bonus.

It’s the best Thai food in Hobart. The pad see you (don’t know how to spell) is amazing with the 18 hour beef atop, the fish cakes are truly the only tender fish cakes I’ve had in a Thai restaurant because we all know they can be a bit rubbery. I also tried veg pad Thai which was too sweet, I should have got some fish sauce to adjust the seasoning a bit. Nice Tassie wines also.

Loved the Thai food at All Thai North Hobart! Nicely located in middle of North Hobart with lot of nearby parking options so easily accessible almost always. Staff is amazing and very kind and polite. We ordered two dishes – Vegetarian and Prawn, both were very nice and different to the other similar dishes we have had. Would definitely go again when next time in the area.

Had heard good things about this place so finally got around to trying it. It didn’t dissapoint.

The staff were friendly even though they seemed to be always busy. On top of those of us seated inside there were a lot takeaway orders happening. They had told us that there would be a 25 minute wait for our food but I’ve found that to be the norm in most restaurants so no issue there.

I went for the chefs special of the day being the Emporer Duck with stir-fried greens. Was absolutely delicious.

Prices are very reasonable with a great range of options available with meat and vegetarian lovers catered for (GF options also). Good drinks list available too.
