I ordered just a simple slice of cheese while waiting for my clothes at the laundromat next door, and what I got was an excellent slice with perfectly melted cheese, fantastic crust-to-sauce-to-cheese ratio, gently seasoned with a crisp bite and a sauce that’s not too sweet or acidic.
You can tell a lot about a pizza place by their simple Cheese Slice, and this shop passes the test easily. It’s an easy to make All About The Crust your frequent lunch stop or your Friday night family meal.
And that’s all without mentioning the cleanliness of the restaurant itself, and the pleasantly casual, inviting staff. Feels like your neighbors are making your pizza! I highly recommend.
There are a few spots around here that do thin slices pretty well, but I think this is one of the better ones. No flop, nice and crispy, great undercarriage, perfectly done, the whole nine! If Dave were to score it, I’d say it’d land in the high sevens. On a good day, maybe even crack an eight.
The shop itself is very clean, smelled great, and everyone there was friendly. The young lady who served me wasn’t your typical mumble zoomer, she was friendly, outgoing, and personable, which you don’t see everywhere these days.
I had no idea this place existed. I’m not from the area, and I’m rarely in that particular part of town, but I happened to be nearby and decided to try it out. I’m glad I did, the pizza was excellent.
I’m definitely going back and highly recommend it. If you’re a pizza lover and like a thin, crisp, classic slice, this spot is worth the stop. Easy 5 stars.
I recently became a new customer at your shop. I’ve lived down the street for over two years, and last week was the first time I tried your pizza. The food was exceptional — truly amazing — and I couldn’t believe I hadn’t visited sooner.
However, my experience today left me very disappointed. I ordered the mini combo — a small pepperoni pizza and with wings and fries — and asked for the total in advance so I could bring the exact amount. After paying for my order, I realized I had two extra dollars in my pocket and asked if I could add a side of cheese. When I learned it cost around three dollars, I politely declined, explaining that I didn’t have the extra money with me at that moment.
As I was walking out the door, I heard the woman at the counter turn to the cook and say loudly, “She didn’t want it anymore — she couldn’t afford it.” That comment was uncalled for and extremely unprofessional. Whether I could afford something or not is not for anyone to assume or discuss publicly. The remark was disrespectful and embarrassing, and unfortunately, it changed my perception of your business.
I wanted to bring this to your attention because customer service is just as important as good food, and I truly hope this feedback is taken constructively. I really enjoyed your food and would love to continue supporting your business, but respect and professionalism should always come first.
Thank you for your time,
Ava
Nothing about my review is bashful. I gave 5 stars for service 5 stars for atmosphere . Take the reviews good and bad , you’re in the industry for that reason . If you can’t accept bad reviews you’re in the wrong business . The pizza was bad plain and simple . I don’t want my pizza remade . I was making you aware . It’s unfortunate that , that was your response. Very condescending.
