I recently had the pleasure of dining at this fantastic restaurant and I cannot recommend it highly enough. The food was outstanding–each dish was a delight. The lamb was incredibly tender and bursting with flavor, while the rice was cooked to perfection. The pita was fluffy and warm, and the hummus was creamy and packed with a wonderful depth of flavor.
The ambience of the restaurant is simply gorgeous, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere that enhances the dining experience. The service was impeccable, with my favorite server, Tika, standing out for her attentiveness and exceptional care. Her service always adds a special touch to the meal. This is my favorite restaurant in Colorado. Note: their hours are 11-8:30 M-S and 11-8 on Sun. The menu is outstanding, and every dish will excite your tastebuds!!! My favorite thing on the menu is the hummus, it is the best tasting hummus I’ve had and is so smooth. I recently took my best friend here and upon arrival, we found out they were closed. The owner was incredibly kind enough to let us still order gyro shawarmas and a side of hummus. The two ladies at the counter were patient with us and very welcoming given that we came after hours. Even though we ended being those people, they were willing and excited to help us get dinner. They also gave us a huge tub of hummus which I could cry about, so so kind. If you’re in Golden, this is THE spot to eat and enjoy beautiful artwork. The dining room is stunning with draped tapestries on the ceiling and a beautiful marble fountain. I highly recommend experiencing the welcoming atmosphere and delicious food at Ali Baba!!

So far this is top 3 for middle eastern food for us after 2 years of living in Colorado. My wife is Lebanese and while everything is not 100% “authentic” to her taste buds, this is pretty good meals with decent price points. The packaging on our second pick up was disappointing as they put a lamb stew on top of the lamb chops which ended up leaking through the packaging and crushing it a bit. Not a complete mess but not great either.

My Son goes to Colorado School of Mines and he discovered this place. He Took me here on one of my visits and we loved it. We ordered one entree and then a few appetizers, pies & some side meats. None of it disappointed. They provide a big bowl of hummus and fresh pita with with the entree, so no need to waste one of your appetizer choices on it. Definitely coming back next visit.

Being a customer of Ali baba for more than a decade I can say confidently that this restaurant is by far one of the best ones in Golden! It’s great food at great at costs makes it a great go to for groups of any sizes and a perfect catering source that we have used for my and my brothers graduation as well as many friends that have followed suite. With all of the stunning decorations Ali baba has displayed, it is safe to say that the only place that could even come close to the authentic Syrian feel then Ali baba creates would be in Syria itself. The service here is not only great, it is deeply imbedded in the community and i have talked to several friends that are not only familiar with but good friends with the waitress Tika who is the nicest person who makes this amazing place all so much cooler. Tika is here almost every time i come here and she is always super friendly and welcoming. In total, if i had to pick my favorite restraint in the world Ali baba would make that an easy decision for me!
