First time here, I wasn’t expecting a delicious meal and that’s exactly what I got.
I will be returning again, maybe… I like giving spots a second chance when it’s deserved.

Killer menudo, incredible carnitas tacos and solid flautas. It’s a must stop if you’re in the Joshua Tree area. The playlist isn’t too shabby either- Ana Gabriel, Chente, LuisMi… 10/10 experience.

Tamales are good, came out steamy!
Taquitos were super crunchy and loaded with a lot of lettuce and cheese, avocado is extra cost.
Lengua was super tender and yummy! The buchae was also very good. Loved all the sauce options!

Well, I never thought that I would find a burrito that wmwould slow my fourteen year old son down. But I did at this taco shop. I was looking for many years for the Godfather of all burritos , and I found it here , the Godfather , california burrito , this is the place to get it. Look at the picture literally , they don’t sell you , california burrito , they sell you a whole baby. I got pulled over after I picked up four of those massive things by the DOT , in case you don’t know what d o t is: department of transportation , and they did a weight check on my car , and I was overweight because of those burritos that. That big and heavy…lol..
All jokes aside, they have the best burrito in southern California.I ate in many Mexican places and most of ’em.I’m tired of but this place has the best California burrito, well, balanced… way too big.I mean way too big, but so good so delicious.I mean, I don’t know what else to say.Go there, have to California burrito.You will not be disappointed. Staff is also super friendly.They always have a smile and you cute lady behind the counter is very friendly, smiles and very good service, good food , what more you need in life.
I haven’t tried all the other items on the menu yet.Because we just can’t go past the Godfather of all burritos, but as soon as I can, as soon as my cardiologist allows me to get off the burrito I will try some other items on the menu.I will keep you updated.Don’t hesitate to come to this place.You will not be disappointed.I guarantee you.

Great good with great prices. Service is fast and plenty of sauces to choose from for your food. Lady is friendly and super helpful. We had every dish made vegetarian and they did not disappoint us at all. Amazing chef who knows how to make vegetarian dishes, not only with cheese but veggies also! Much better option for dinner if you are visiting Joshua tree.

It looked (pic included) and tasted like puréed avocado – no additional flavor, like even salt. And to make matters worse, the large bag of chips we ordered, was completely stale (by 4:30 pm). So it was overpriced and old/tasteless.
The chimichanga was ok. Their pastor is more chunky than shaved. And no pineapple with it.
I definitely would not return.

LOVE this place! Found it while driving home on the 62. It’s small, very much a taco shop vibe, but the fact that they offer some quality burritos is a major plus. Huge burrito for just around $12, meat is seasoned to perfection and the salsas are wonderful!! Aguas are perfect too, not too sweet (which is usually what you get at other places), Jamaica is the perfect sidekick to a deliciously spicy burrito. Service is very great as well, the woman who helped us was ready to assist and super friendly. Can’t wait for another burrito adventure here!!
