Food was great, simple format menu which was perfect, understood everything quickly. I would highly recommend getting the tender stem broccoli side dish as it’s is perfectly cooked.
Drinks menu was filled with everything you could want, real selection of beverages, rather than a tiny list, porretti on tap is always a must.
Very quiet, 5 tables with people on. Would rather have had it with a bit more spacing between tables but completely understand for simplicity of the waitress. Staff were very welcoming.

I came to Alfredo’s for their steak night, which was fantastic and reasonably priced.
I then returned the following morning and had a lovely coffee with an amazing pastry. They were open at 8am which is perfect for an early riser like myself. Would very much recommend!

It was a very good experience, it is a tapas style menu so things come out when they are ready, but it was also very well explained by a gentleman serving us about serving sizes of each dish. The arancini is a must order when you go as they are some of the best I’ve ever had. Great service, excellent food, lovely atmosphere.

Nice food and service. Been before for a coffee and light bites and also for a Sunday roast. The only downside was we ask to see the dessert menu 3 times and it never arrived but all in all would recommend.

Waited over 30 minutes for coffees ( a party of seven, having purchased food, as well) – nonchalant and apathetic service from the man who served us our drinks – no apologies for the wait, only excuses. Ordered an extra-hot flat-white, delivered lukewarm and I would confidently say that he knew very well that the coffee was not what I’d ordered. The coffee not being right doesn’t bother me as much as someone serving who clearly ‘does not give a monkeys’. Returned to Castle Cary and to Burnt Honey, where they care enough about customers to ensure that they are happy with what they receive. Shan’t be returning to Alfredo’s any time soon…

A gem of a restaurant with lovely ambience, an incredible wine list of interesting and serious Italian wines. The food is divine, the pizza is the chewiest golden standard in sourdough pizza and the malathion were intense and wonderful. Need to try more things! A really special place and ideal for a memorable dinner or a casual night out.

The place is beautifully decorated and very authentic.

Visiting Alfredo’s in Somerton with friends. It happened to be Steak Night Wednesday which added a selection of fairly priced steaks to the menu. As always the Arancini were superb as was the Broccoli Fritto with Parmesan (it will convert even broccoli haters to this dish). Service was exemplary and the Malbec was delicious. It was nice to see the restaurant full and deservedly so. A reliable, well priced venue.
