Being new to PSL from NY, I can only say that this place is as close to NY pizza that you will get and it’s really good. Their entrees are really good as well. Love the chicken and meatball parm dinners w spaghetti. They also make a really good gyro. I go there at least once a week, and it never disappoints

If I could give zero stars, I would. Alfonso’s Pizza used to be one of my favorite spots. I’ve ordered from them countless times over the years, and for a long time they were reliable, friendly, and consistent. But recently, their customer service has taken a drastic turn for the worse, and my latest experience was so disrespectful that it completely changed my view of this place.
Today, I called hoping to place an order and give them another chance. Instead of being treated like a loyal customer, I was met with the rudest response I’ve ever experienced from any business. The moment they picked up, the person on the phone acted irritated, as if my call was an inconvenience. Before I could even finish explaining what I wanted to order, they accused me of being someone else — someone they apparently didn’t want to deal with. I tried to calmly explain that they were mistaken, but I wasn’t even given the chance. They cut me off and hung up on me. No apology, no clarification, no attempt at basic customer service. Just a rude accusation followed by the sound of a dial tone.
To say I was shocked is an understatement. I have never been treated like that by a restaurant in my life. There was absolutely no reason for them to jump to conclusions, speak to me with that level of disrespect, or hang up on me when I was trying to communicate politely. I wasn’t yelling, I wasn’t demanding anything, I was simply trying to place an order like any normal customer.
This experience showed me that Alfonso’s has completely lost touch with what customer service should be. If they can’t even handle a simple phone call without being rude, dismissive, or unprofessional, it makes you wonder how they handle more serious issues. It’s honestly embarrassing for a business to treat people this way — especially loyal customers who have supported them for years.
I refuse to give my money to a place that treats people like this. I will not be returning, and I strongly suggest others think twice before ordering from here. There are plenty of restaurants that value their customers, communicate respectfully, and don’t hang up on people for no reason. Alfonso’s is no longer one of them.

Ordered through Slice app, waited 2 hours for delivery. Once we got our Sicilian pizza, was fairly cold but tasted good. Was not Sicilian at all. Flatter than a regular slice of pizza but charged for Sicilian pie. Unsure if I’d order again??

I have ordered from Alfonso’s 3 other times since we moved to PSL last month. Haven’t had an issue until now. We received our pizza and it tasted off. The crust was crumbly and tasted like a stale cracker. I reached out through Slice who i ordered through for delivery. After many people and no resolution I contacted Alfonso’s directly. Unfortunately, the two people I spoke to did not think it was possible that they could make a bad pizza and offered no type of resolution. I normally just eat something even if it isn’t the best. $19 for an extra cheese pizza and I could have bought a frozen one and it be better than the one we got tonight. Sad that customer service has went downhill. Even if they didn’t offer a resolution they could have at least offered an apology.

Not sure what part of NY these reviewers lived who say its NY style because NY food is delicious and made with pride, this is not good food. Ordered sausage and peppers over penne. They overcooked the penne and was soft as mush,it broke up into pieces. Shrimp Parm, where’s the shrimp? Just greasy breading with mozzarella cheese that was one big clump. Garlic bread? Was olio oil with a little garlic brushed on cheap commercial bread. Threw it out. Spent 58.00 for delivery, that’s a travesty!
You should get your kitchen in order and supervise what you serve. This is the owner’s responsibility.

BURNT, SALTY, COLD, DRY!!! Took over 2hrs to deliver!!! We have order from place a lot of times the past few times we’ve order the quality as well as delivery time declined greatly! We order our pizza at 4:30pm today and it took over 2 1/2 hours get our order. After 2hrs I called to check in see where the order was only for them to say it just left them. The food was delivered 30mins after that only to get the wrong pizza. I called to let them know, they instructed me to give the pizza back to the delivery driver. I informed them that we had open the pizza and it touched it without realizing it was ours we didn’t eat. The driver was still in the area and had our pizza with him all along. I asked the driver why did it take so long he was adamant that our food was hot he told me to feel the boxes. I had him feel it and he confirmed it was cold while he did apologies he said it was only delivered what was given to him. Calling the restaurant back to only be out on hold and then told this was their peek time as an excuse for late and cold food!! The pizza it self was BURNT, HARD, DRY, & SALTY Never again will we order from him.
