Epic bagels, very obviously the best around. Perfect combination of soft to chewiness. We have a bagel club at work and this got one of the best reviews (and thats sourcing from all of northern NJ and NYC)! Parking sucks please fix that!

Absolutely one of the best bagels, if not the best bagel, in my life. And I say that as a lifelong North Jersey bagel eater. Ask them what’s fresh and warm behind the counter, and just get it with some butter. Will transport you to another world. 5/5, highly recommend.

The bagels are great, HOWEVER, when my teenage son corrected the clerk she grabbed the wrong bagel for his order she cursed him out in Spanish while another girl laughed. He knows Spanish, especially the curse words. I will never go back!

The best bagels (and croissants) I’ve ever had. I don’t know what they do in the kitchen but their dough is unlike anything else I’ve ever tried. It is crispy on the outside, and a delicious soft and chewy texture on the inside that almost feels like melted butter. My boyfriend lives in Randolph so every time I visit him it is a treat to go here!

Alfa Bagels is hands-down the best bagel shop in North Jersey! The bagels are always delicious and fresh—crispy on the outside, perfectly chewy on the inside, and you can taste the quality in every bite. The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming; they always greet you with a smile and even remember your usual order if you’re a regular, which makes the whole experience feel personal and genuine.
The shop has that perfect local bagel spot vibe—busy but cozy, full of regulars, and stocked with tons of great options beyond just bagels. Plus, their prices are super reasonable, especially for the quality you get.
Alfa Bagels has definitely become my go-to breakfast spot in North Jersey. If you’re in the area and want a true classic bagel experience done right, this is the place to go!

I’m very disappointed in the prices compared to what you’re getting. I ordered THEC on what I thought would be a Rye bagel – it was $10. No egg and no bagel. We also ordered a side of bacon – $7 for 5 pieces of bacon? That’s absurd. I’ll stick to my regular bagel place.

Grabbed a Jersey Meat (I don’t care if you call it pork roll or Taylor ham so I’m avoiding the argument) Egg and Cheese from Alfa Bagel. I normally get these on a hard roll (Kaiser) but since this is a bagel spot and I’ve heard the bagels are good, I went with an egg bagel. The woman who helped me was very friendly, and I chose to take the sandwich outside to the benches because it was a nice day. Came out to just over $6 and this spot is cash only.
The bagel was solid for this area, normally this far west of North Jersey/NYC the bagels are not great but I enjoyed this. Hit it with a little butter and seemed very lightly grilled. Sandwich had 3 slices of the biggest argument meat ever with what I believe to be one egg (could have been two small eggs) and I’d guess two slices of American. I chose to go no SPK as I usually do with these sandwiches. The meat is salty enough and I personally feel ketchup doesn’t allow you to taste all the other flavors.
I would get this again but I’d be more interested in trying something else from here. This wouldn’t crack a top 5 list for me or anything but it was definitely a good sandwich. Alfa Bagels in Randolph, NJ – Didn’t Suck!

The best bagels I’ve ever had hands down. I couldn’t believe the rating of this place was lower than 4.9. They’re the best in NJ for bagels!
