I have eaten here plenty of times (TAKE OUT) but never sat down until i decided to go for my birthday last night with my daughter BIG EYE OPENER first I dealt wit flies and nats while eating appetite was ruined because flies kept touching near my food and flying onto my straw it took my server forever to bring me another one then she never brought another straw or a drink refill the whole time I was sitting food was bought out quickly and tasted great but outside of that I’m disgusted at the amount of bugs I had to deal with while sitting inside and eating I can only imagine what the kitchen was like after that experience I will be recommend a health inspection as well I will never eat from here again 2nd issue was they offer .99 cent price for 20 or more wings I totally got charged regular price and also the server was very new and undertrained she took everything into her own matter and repeatedly made errors causing a hold on my card and I had to charge my card twice for her mistake . Not to mention when I walked in most of the tables was still dirty full of food and dishes very nasty to have 3 servers plus the manager & short business literally 2 couples when I walked in place was empty pretty much and nobody is cleaning up over 2 tables was

We eat here often… too often.
Tonight the food was AMAZING.
The queso was thick, the salsa was fresh and sweet, the chips were piping hot and the the enchiladas were outstanding.

Free cheese dip at lunch time, do I need to say much more? We go here often and have never had a bad experience. I love their hot wings and also their Quesabirria tacos.

This is the second time I’ve ordered food here. I love the burrito lunch with carnitas! Great price for a big lunch. I also ordered the street tacos. They are delicious! This is one of my new favorite places in Lewisburg.

First time visiting. Had lunch and you get free cheese dip. Chips are light and very good. Salsa is also good.

Great Mexican food! You must try tacos made from carnitas. The wings and fried rice combo are also a good choice. Preferred drink is the horchata and fresh cucumber water. Great service and environment.

So glad that Alex is finally in Lewisburg! Just FYI this location in downtown Lewisburg is ran by Alex and his team, the other location in town is not. If you’re a fan of the original Alex’s in Columbia definitely come check them out and enjoy their tasty food!
My wife and I have been fans of their food for years now and we’re excited to have them at walking (great excuse for an extra taco) distance! I highly recommend their tamal Oaxaqueño. It’s very unique from tamales offered at other Mexican restaurants. It’s Chicken with a mole sauce, accompany it with a side of spicy salsa and sour cream… .
Aside from great food, Alex and his team are just genuinely nice people and I hope the community supports great business.

Amazing food and great service love coming here! Our family loves coming here, thr wings are the best we’ve ever gotten besides homemade, and prices are reasonable! Gotta try this place! It’s great!
