This place is great for cheap margaritas that are good! The food was ok. Chips were stale, and salsa was ok. I got the birria tacos, they were good but didn’t blow me away. We also got their brisket enchiladas, they were good. All the food was not very hot, more like Luke warm. Queso blanco was disappointing.. definitely made with some kind of fake cheese like velveta. Our sever was nice and talked with us for a while after we were done. Overall a good experience, just wish the food was a better quality. We’d eat here regularly since it’s close to where we live if it was.

If you’re searching for the best Mexican food in Plano, look no further—this place is number one for a reason.
The enchiladas with mole sauce were the star of the meal. Rich, complex, and perfectly balanced, the mole had that deep, earthy flavor with just the right hint of sweetness. Every bite reminded me why this dish is a classic.
Before the main course even arrived, we were already impressed. The chips came out warm and crispy, paired with fresh salsa and a creamy bean dip that had our table fighting over the last scoop.
One more tip: grab a pineapple Jarritos to wash it all down. The bright, fruity sweetness is the perfect complement to all those savory flavors.
This spot has earned its reputation. Highly recommend.

Me and my husband found this place by accident. And we are so glad we did because we thought we were going to one place and we ended up there and I truly believe that everything happens for a reason, because we love it, we continuously keep going back and we will always keep going back. We love the food we love The 2 waitresses that are always there. And just everything about that little beautiful Mexican restaurant that we love so much now, I recommend it to everybody.

Portion sizes were good, and the food was well-prepared with fresh ingredients. The service was attentive, and the overall experience was enjoyable. The music was a bit loud.
Complimentary Chips and Salsa – The tortilla chips were crunchy and not greasy. Two salsas were served—a red salsa that was spicy but flavorful, and a bean dip that had a good bean flavor without being greasy.
Claudia’s Salad with Chicken ($13) – A fresh salad with avocado, cheese, tortilla strips, and a grilled chicken breast. The grilled chicken had a great charred flavor that stood out.
Roasted Shrimp Relleno ($15) – A mild but very flavorful chili relleno topped with a salty, cheesy sauce.
Oceanside Tacos with Salmon ($16) – These tacos featured grilled salmon that provided a good balance of spice and meatiness.
Beans and Rice – Both were flavorful and tasty. The beans paired especially well with the tortilla chips after the entrees were done.
Guava Agua Fresca ($5) – Tasted like sweet guava juice but not as thick as guava nectar.

Friendly little spot. Food was fine. Tacos were middle of the road. I had brisket enchiladas in a green sauce. The mushrooms in this dish were unexpected and a lovely touch. The brisket was tender. I enjoyed it. Simple menu and basic diner with a super engaged staff.

Great bean dip, as promised! Came here for lunch and the prices were more than fair. Generous fajitas and I demolished my flauta plate! Can’t wait to come back and try everything else they have to offer.
My mom was also thoroughly impressed that nothing seemed over-salted, especially the refried beans!

Fantastico! I came at the recommendation of my cousin and was not disappointed! Great atmosphere! Attentive service and delicious food and drink. I enjoyed the crispy tacos plate – oh wow! I had a couple of pineapple margs on the rocks. Yum-O! If you are looking for a solid go-to in the central Plano area, stop by!

Small restaurant with big flavors! The Alambre was great, and the top shelf margarita was on point. Topopos were fresh and crispy, and the sauces were excellent. Quick and friendly service. I went back and tried the birria tacos…OMG, the best birria I have ever tasted! I also had the spicy pineapple margarita, and it was fantastic. Review updated to 5 starts.
