Minimal seating, but that adds to the great service and local community atmosphere where you always feel welcome. Hours are different for the full menu, so check before you go hungry, but drinks are great (full bar), and staff is always pleasant! Great off the main drag joint!!!
☆Just as an extra plus…. their cornbeef and cabbage dinner for St. Patrick’s was AMAZING!!! ☆

We stopped in tonight for some dinner. Extremely quaint place with a friendly atmosphere. There was a table of older folks next to us, celebrating one of their birthdays, they were having a good old time! The establishment brought out a coconut cream pie served up for all of them as we all sang “Happy Birthday!” The food was very good, with ample portion sizes and it was reasonably priced. I was enjoying an Arnold Palmer that was never left unattended to the point of getting empty. We will definitely be back!

Love Park Tavern. Best food in Bureau County. Lunch and nightly specials, great friendly owners that make homemade pie as well. Great staff and cold drinks!

Park Tavern provides an excellent experience between its service, atmosphere and food. I had the 3 piece dark chicken dinner which comes with a potato side all for about $10.50 (ish). I had dinner with my grandparents. My grandpa had the 3 piece dinner as well and grandma had a BLT. I had dinner with them after they recommended the fried chicken here. For the 3 of us, the bill was $35. Which is, outstanding! A price you can’t beat these days. All of the staff was friendly and they even knew most peoples names inside the restaurant. They provide a home like experience. I definitely recommend and will be back! Be sure to check them out and also give them 5 stars!

The did was amazing. I ordered the chicken strips and they had me three massive pieces. The sweet potato fries are great also. The service was excellent and very helpful. They helped us decide what to have for the evening.

Our daughter and her family took us there one evening. We enjoyed the food, the waitress was fantastic! As a matter of fact, everytime a waitress walked by our table they would ask if we needed anything. We have been stopping by ever since. The catfish dinner, the rib dinner are both out of this world! Ribs just fall off the bone. Nice size catfish also, cooked just right! If you go there try the augraten potatoes yummy. Salad dressings are great, homemade, the pies for desert make your mouth water! All in all, this is a fantastic place to enjoy a meal at.

Typical of the area, the food was fantastic and the service was with a smile. I had the pork tenderloin, and it was great. I’ve added it to my list of places I’ll rotate.
And of course, the pie. Oh Mama… Absolutely the best apple pie I’ve had in years. And my wife makes a killer apple pie… Shhhhhhh! Don’t tell her, but I’ll slide down to Park Tavern for another slice real soon.

Homer lives here. So if you’re not a regular be prepared to wait while others get seated in front of you. Its always busy but depending on the wait staff it could take awhile to get served. The food is good. I love the augratin potatoes they are a treat and the prime rib on Saturday night is delicious. The chicken is the draw and it is always good. You just have to put up with a few grumpy staff that probably should have retired when they turned 80.

Typical small town bar/restaurant. Went for a fish fry but it wasn’t what we expected. Just one piece of cod on top of a piece of bread. It was tasty but not what I would call a fish fry on a Friday night.
