Alessandro’s is a very good restaurant! Walked in and by the stroke of luck I was seated immediately. They give you seeded bread and a cup of very tasty, well seasoned and chunky tomato sauce to dunk the bread in and quite honestly, out of all the Italian restaurants I’ve ever been to in my life, the bread and this tomato sauce was the best thing. Most restaurants give out butter or olive oil. Tomato sauce is a far less common thing . Here they give you tomato sauce and it’s just the greatest thing I’ve ever seen! I wouldn’t be the least bit surprised if other restaurant owners start copying them.
I got a chicken parm for dinner and my girlfriend got a salad. Both were excellent!
We also got the arancini rice balls for an appetizer. Which also were the best I’ve had from anywhere in the area. But the size and the quantity they give you is a little off compared to other nearby alternatives. Other places are giving 5 or 6 per order. Here you get 3 per order. But it is what it is.
I’d come back. Been eating all over Delco lately with my new girlfriend and this place was the best place we’ve been to so far. Was also the most expensive as well so at least they are delivering for the asking price they have. Really nice restaurant!

OUTSTANDING! Every part of dinner was absolutely incredible. Starting with the service and ending with the quality of the food and ambiance. I spent the first part of my life working in restaurants so I know a good one when I experience one. This was top notch. New York quality and vibe right on the main line. I will be back, over and over again. Ps. Everything on the menu is top notch. Pics attached.

Our server was attentive. Seat spacing was appropriate. We changed our reservation from 3 to 4 and they required us to move the time and location, odd given the party of 3 would be sitting at a 4 top. The food came out timely. A guest has dietary restrictions, the waitress and chef made sure the food came out as requested. I would go back. I would like to try the pizza. Watching other orders come out, it looked very appealing.

I have enjoyed many good meals here, but last night I walked in and ordered a pizza for takeout. They said it would take 10 minutes as I waited. 5 minutes later I had a terribly soggy pizza. No way that came right out of the Pizza oven – tasted like they nuked it. Inexcusable.

The bread was quite tasty. Apps were okay – we enjoyed the arancini but $55 for slightly overcooked jumbo prawns that lacked seasoning? Very disappointing! For entrees we ordered the risotto and pappardelle bolognese. I sent back the risotto. Gross and watery. I ordered the lobster ravioli instead, which was delicious. The pappardelle was really good too. We took desserts home, which were really disappointing especially for the price. The brownies were dry, and they only gave us maybe a spoonful, not even a scope of chocolate ice cream. Since there was so little ice cream it completely melted by the time we were home.

Dinner for 2 on a Sunday at 5pm and couldn’t have asked for a more pleasant experience. From the hostess to the chef who visited the table, everybody was as accommodating as could be. Food is excellent. Ribeye, veal & crabmeat, Scallops special appetizer, and the artichokes were all great. Even a kind gesture for our special occasion. Great atmosphere and a great team. Thanks.

Came in for the first time as a solo diner last week and sat at the downstairs bar, and was taken care of by George. I was quite pleased with the drink and food selection. The vibe/atmosphere was lively, and upbeat. Moving on to my order, I started with a Last Word. As I drank that I got the wings which were okay for my taste. After my last word cocktail, I asked George what was underrated, and he told pointed out the Smoking Mirrors which was PHENOMENAL, and the Buzzer Beater which was equally wonderful. He was very knowledgeable, understood a lot of things like the back of his hand.
I even got to check out a bottle of aged yellow chartreuse which had me jaw dropped. Then I got to check out the second floor that also had a bar, and got to say hi to Chris, who used to work with my mother and a couple of my siblings. Following that I ordered the Soppressata pizza at the end which was unbelievably delicious. Sadly I didn’t have time to get dessert as the kitchen was closing up at that point.
All in all, I had an amazing time there, and will be making future trips when I can. I’ll be sure to try out some of the desserts next time. Awesome atmosphere/vibe, great staff, and lovely food apart from the wings which like I said, were okay. Seriously, thanks, I’m looking forward to my next visit!

We had an amazing experience at Alessandro’s Wood Fired Italian & Bar! The Pappardelle Bolognese was outstanding – rich, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The Margherita Pizza was also a hit, with a deliciously crisp crust and fresh toppings. Despite a full dining room and guests waiting at the bar and door, the service was flawless, attentive, and made us feel truly welcome. The specials list added a nice variety, showcasing their creativity and passion for Italian cuisine. We’ll definitely be back next time we’re in town!

Absolutely amazing everything from the appetizers to desserts. You can tell the chefs really but thought into their menu & the pairing of ingredients. Loved the atmosphere nice & warm/cozy. The service was phenomenal. Kim was an amazing waitress, super sweet & bubbly. 30 mins from me & definitely coming back again!

Some delicious, authentic Italian favorites of ours….the grilled artichokes, arugula salad and calamari, excellent every time. Very crispy calamari! If you are an arugula fan, try the salad here, it’s excellent. Fresh hot bread is made in house and fresh! The wood fired pizza is excellent.
I would consider this a very good, Italian place to eat with fresh quality ingredients in their homemade dishes and you can always count on their wonderful, friendly service.
