To my surprise, this restaurant did not want to substitute ingredients. However, the waitress was extremely kind and put up with my disbelief.
This restaurant employees were absolutely kind and patient and did not take me for annoying.
I highly recommend this place and assure you they will be patient with your impatience and serve you to the best of their ability — at least that was my experience today.
Sweet, kind and very good food. They also didn’t correct me when I said “Diet Coke”. They were kind enough to ignore my mistake.

Nice, clean restaurant with good Mexican and American food at fair prices. Probably the BEST to eat in Ulysses Kansas. All the people are very friendly and attentive. You leave here full and they even offer vegan fare!! There is something for everyone … a place the whole family is sure to love!

Small town dining with friendly greetings upon entering. Sweet staff, attentive waitresses even when they’re busy. Spacious and easy seating, no long waits and good food. They had a lunch buffet option but we ordered from the menu. Chicken/beef fajita platter was great, hamburger steak for husband made just as requested. We would recommend and eat here again.

We used to love going here but the last few times have been so ridiculously slow! Other customers that are seated after us get served before us and the service is so lacking! I understand busy but come on, a table seated after should not get their food and be done and gone before us. RIDICULOUS!

The place was half full and it took over an hour to get our order. Three other parties who were sat after us received their meals and left before we were served. Wait staff was inadequate. Food was good but $70 for a family of four and an annoyingly long wait will most likely keep us from going back any time soon.

Stellar food but a bit pricey. I had the triple fajitas and they were out of this world. The food came fast and was delicious, especially with the perfectly grilled / carmelized onions. Added a nice sweetness to the overall dish. The staff and owners were exceptionally helpful and friendly. I’ll be eating here more often for sure.

What a wonderful place. The food was delicious and our server Amy was the best waitresses we could of asked for.. Positive. Bubbly. Good spirited and big hearted.. Gotta Love a little place like this in the middle of Kansas !! (Margarita was excellent too)
