We came to Alejandra’s on Sunday for a late breakfast with the family. The service was terrible from the beginning- it appeared as though it was a bother to wait on us. They were hostile, extremely rude and snarky. It made us uncomfortable the entire meal. Then the food came out cold and some of the orders were incorrect. We tried to make the most and enjoy it. At the end of the meal I went to pay and I got charged for my order and three other orders. They were rushing us out didn’t bother to ask or allow me to explain -they just ran my card through. I didn’t make a big deal of this because I didn’t want to complain. However being a business owner and understanding that service is key is why I am writing this review. Customers should not be treated like this. You go out to a restaurant with family to enjoy a pleasant meal not to feel uncomfortable by the hostility of the staff and owners. I hope they see that customers are essential and valuable and should not be taken for granted. If you are looking for good traditional Mexican food I would suggest great alternatives like Dona Carmen’s, 911 cafe, frijoles to name a few better options.

This is one of our favorite places to go for breakfast on a Sunday. The carne guisada is blessed by a grandma. Perfection! And the coffee was more than likely anointed by none other than Juan Valdez. Coffee and chisme with a cozy vibe. Go get yourself some!

Great Service! Delicious Breakfast! Very Decent Menu Prices! My plate, my husband’s plate and my baby’s sunny side up egg plus 2 drinks was less than $20.00. We’ve definitely found our new breakfast spot in Brownsville!! Coming back SOON!

I love coming to eat here on my lunch. It’s almost like going to your mom’s house. The prices are amazing without sacrificing the quality and taste.

We went to eat breakfast. We had the chorizo and egg plate, huevo divorciados, bean taco, and fajita taco. The price was descent it was $45 dollars. The food was average. The beans were a little to bland, the coffee too not the best. The service was good both ladies were very nice.
The restrooms were clean but the door lock was not working or something that it wasn’t locking properly. Someone actually open de door on us.

Decent food for a decent price. $5.38 for this meal. It is located in the shopping center if you map it, it will show you going around where there is no road. Also no sign on building besides what you see in the attached photo.
