A really well-executed 15-course tasting menu that elevates Levantine cuisine without losing its identity. Each course felt intentional, balanced, and thoughtfully composed. You can sense the chef’s confidence and respect for tradition, with subtle creativity rather than overstatement.
Nothing felt excessive or forced, just solid technique, great flavors, and a clear point of view. Left feeling satisfied and impressed. Also, the service was super great and staff were so friendly and explained the whole concept!
Would definitely recommend

I had a most lovely evening in Alee. Every dish was delicious and creative. The food was beautifully presented, meticulously cooked, well seasoned and professionally served by the most friendly servers. Please try their sujuk, green wheat, and potato. Their special and wonderful taste won me over. The chocolate dessert was very tasty as well! My mom celebrated her birthday and we were so happy and excited to see all the staff singing the birthday song with a cake. It’s so touching and nice. Thank you so much!!

Cozy classy restaurant in one of Amman oldest neighborhood. Located on too of an “all made in Jordan” shop. What an excellent experience.

Food was innovative, dishes were Levantine but with the chef twist. Very clean and high quality. Excellent service and beautiful decorated restaurant.

My only input would be more time between dishes so the one can be able to clean their pallet and get ready for new amazing tastes.

10/10

Alee is a place of fine dining. Middleastern food presented with a twist of new creation and additional boast of flavours. Its a nice experience towards tasting a bite of different flavours all at once. View is spectacular, truly down town can hold surprises for us. Service and presentation is critical and valuable in identifying the dish’s identity and flavours. I found each dish a puzzle to be resolve and identity to be unveiled. My only observation is that this place is not the go to if you want to satisfy your hunger or fulfill your needs. Its minimal in portions especially the loqma its very minimal. Finally the dessert was a disappointment expectation after the hot dishes were so high but ended up disappointed, could have had a better closure to the story telling. Pudding has no taste not sour nor sweet simply plain. Kunafa is interesting. Favourite hot dish is potatoe harra, lettuce gem salad, freekeh balls .

We absolutely loved the variety of Middle Eastern cuisine presented with such a modern touch. Every dish was exceptional — from the refreshing bulgur salad to the mushroom-stuffed kibbeh, followed by the batata harra, and of course the kibbeh nayeh, which was outstanding. We finished with the steak, cooked to absolute perfection.

Truly a beautiful dining experience from start to finish.

Thank you, Ali, for such wonderful hospitality.

One of the best dining experiences I had during my visit to Amman. Chef Ali personally attended to our table, taking the time to explain each dish and the inspiration behind it, which made the experience even more memorable. The flavors and combinations were exceptional, showcasing creativity and attention to detail. I especially loved the desserts — a perfect ending to a remarkable meal. Without a doubt, I will be returning on my next visit to Amman.

Chef Ali of Alee is amazing! If Jordan were to ever have a Michelin starred restaurant, I think this would be it. Alee offers an incredible culinary experience with Chef Ali’s twist on modern Levantine cuisine.

I have been visiting this restaurant since it opened and it never disappoints. The menu changes every now and then so you get a variety on Chef Ali’s take on his favorites growing up and new dishes in the works. Chef Ali is also very personable. He is incredibly nice and will even come by your table, have a seat, and chat with you. It was great getting to know how he got to where he is now and what inspires him.

Alee sits atop one of the seven hills in Amman overlooking Al Balad area with great views across the wadi of the Citadel, especially when it is beautifully lit up at night.

The menu is pricey but very worth it. There is also a great selection of wine. The only draw back is we have found that the servers are not able to make good wine recommendations to complement the dishes. In all honesty, service could be much better (something the Chef acknowledged early on) but it should not deter anyone from this exquisite dining experience.
