My favorite is the Chilaquiles divorciados, and the tlayuda with everything on it..
Portions are perfect you dont leave outta there feeling bloated, I am a true believer that great food comes in small portions, you even have room for dessert which is unusual if you go to other restaurants where you might even ask for a to go box for food that will probably end up in the trash.
Food might take a while but great food takes time to make if its FRESH so I dont mind the wait at all..
Its all worthy..
This is definitely one of my TO GO spots when I am craving a little bit of my Mexican roots. ❤️
we love the authentic and delicious Mexican food and the attentive and friendly service we received today from el Señor Eloy,
Y la amable jovencita que nos atendió también, hicieron nuestra experiencia muy agradable.
We had a feast with plates to share, the shrimp ceviche with jicama and mango to start was delicious.
A refreshing y rica Bloody Mary en jarrito
We ordered breakfast burritos,
Molcajete para dos, included tasty and tender carne asada, chicken, shrimp, grilled nopales, queso fresco fundido, rice, beans, guac and more…all totally delicioso!
We also ordered chiles rellenos, these were amazingly tasty and authentic
We cone here every time we are in town, highly recommend
Great job to the owners and stuff!
And a big Thank you!!!
In addition, I appreciated that Gilberto’s kitchen is run by all women. It is rare to see something like this in the states. Will be returning to bring my friends and family to this great place.
He ordered the molcajete, and it was a spectacular showstopper. Packed with incredibly tender and perfectly seasoned chicken, carne asada, pastor, shrimp, and what might be the most flavorful chorizo I’ve ever tasted. The sizzling stone bowl kept everything hot and delicious until the very last bite.
I had the Chile Rellenos, and they were a masterpiece. The peppers were cooked to a tender, smoky perfection and smothered in a rich, tangy tomato-based sauce that complemented the dish beautifully—not overpowering, just perfect harmony. Even the sides were exceptional; the Mexican rice was fluffy and perfect, and the black beans were deeply satisfying.
To top it all off, our server, David, was phenomenal. His service wasn’t just efficient; it was an art. He was incredibly knowledgeable, attentive without being intrusive, and his recommendations were spot-on. He truly elevated our experience from a great meal to a memorable day out.
Do not hesitate—Alebrijes is a gem, 5 stars isn’t enough!
