Excellent! I had the huevos rancheros and they were great! Thr cafe de olla was particularly good and I highly recommend it. If you’re looking for a taste of Oaxacan cuisine this is the place to go.

We sat outside under the patio area. Beautiful atmosphere, homey feeling. Took a while to get our food but it was worth it! Food was outstanding, flavorfull, good portions, priced reasonably. Hostess and waitress were both friendly and enthusiastic. Hostess recommended their Cafe de Olla. It was delicious! I usually need creamer in my coffee but no need with the cafe de olla. A little pricy unless you get multiple refills, which are included. 10/10. Highly recommend going. Will go back.

I just love this authentic Mexican restaurant, the food is bomb ..
My favorite is the Chilaquiles divorciados, and the tlayuda with everything on it..
Portions are perfect you dont leave outta there feeling bloated, I am a true believer that great food comes in small portions, you even have room for dessert which is unusual if you go to other restaurants where you might even ask for a to go box for food that will probably end up in the trash.
Food might take a while but great food takes time to make if its FRESH so I dont mind the wait at all..
Its all worthy..
This is definitely one of my TO GO spots when I am craving a little bit of my Mexican roots. ❤️

My husband and I took our lovely Father-in-law and Mother-in-Law to Alebrijes.

we love the authentic and delicious Mexican food and the attentive and friendly service we received today from el Señor Eloy,

Y la amable jovencita que nos atendió también, hicieron nuestra experiencia muy agradable.

We had a feast with plates to share, the shrimp ceviche with jicama and mango to start was delicious.

A refreshing y rica Bloody Mary en jarrito

We ordered breakfast burritos,
Molcajete para dos, included tasty and tender carne asada, chicken, shrimp, grilled nopales, queso fresco fundido, rice, beans, guac and more…all totally delicioso!

We also ordered chiles rellenos, these were amazingly tasty and authentic

We cone here every time we are in town, highly recommend

Great job to the owners and stuff!
And a big Thank you!!!

We celebrated my wife’s birthday party (20) people in total, and Valery and Gilberto were excellent to work with! The food was great and on time. Everyone mentioned the graciousness of the staff. Stop by and say “Hi,” to Valery and her crew, and enjoy a wonderful meal, you’ll be glad you did.

Am a Mexican Celiac (severe allergy to gluten) and let me tell you that I had a great experience. Gilberto, the business owner, and his staff took the time to talk to me and give me safe options to eat. I ended up getting the Mexican egg scramble with ham and chile ancho and black beans. I also drank their café de olla and it was deli delicious! My friend had the green chilaquilles and he ate those up. I definitely recommend. As soon as you walk in you can smell all of the amazing aromas and the customer service was great.

In addition, I appreciated that Gilberto’s kitchen is run by all women. It is rare to see something like this in the states. Will be returning to bring my friends and family to this great place.

I decided to try Alebrijes because I heard it was good. The location was beautiful inside and out. The services was amazing. The only thing was after we had the chilaquiles are stomachs started to hurt. We got home and non stop vomiting this had never happen to us.

My husband and I had one of the best Mexican meals of our lives at Alebrijes! From the first bite to the last, everything was absolute perfection.
He ordered the molcajete, and it was a spectacular showstopper. Packed with incredibly tender and perfectly seasoned chicken, carne asada, pastor, shrimp, and what might be the most flavorful chorizo I’ve ever tasted. The sizzling stone bowl kept everything hot and delicious until the very last bite.
I had the Chile Rellenos, and they were a masterpiece. The peppers were cooked to a tender, smoky perfection and smothered in a rich, tangy tomato-based sauce that complemented the dish beautifully—not overpowering, just perfect harmony. Even the sides were exceptional; the Mexican rice was fluffy and perfect, and the black beans were deeply satisfying.

To top it all off, our server, David, was phenomenal. His service wasn’t just efficient; it was an art. He was incredibly knowledgeable, attentive without being intrusive, and his recommendations were spot-on. He truly elevated our experience from a great meal to a memorable day out.
Do not hesitate—Alebrijes is a gem, 5 stars isn’t enough!

Great service, staff is incredibly nice! Waited probably less than 10 minutes for food. I had the concha French toast and it was amazing! I also had the watermelon agua fresca which came in a huge glass. It was so fresh and sweet. I will definitely be coming back!

I came here with my family a couple of weekends ago and we all loved our food. The portions were a really good size and the food was delicious. I order the chilaquiles with mole sauce which you don’t see too often at restaurants and I really enjoyed it. I also loved the cafe de olla. You rarely see that on menus here in PHX and it was delicious. I’m really glad they replaced the previous Mexican restaurant and I look forward to trying them again for lunch or dinner. P.S.. It’s a smaller restaurant and they get busy. We got there 15ish mins before they opened and a lined was formed when the doors opened. If you go, be prepared to wait. Our server was very friendly and very attentive, especially considering the place was packed.
