I rarely review a restaurant unless it is 5 star incredible! This place was phenomenal! We celebrated my son Aiden’s 17th Birthday here, the food was amazing & the staff were super nice! They gave him a Sombrero to wear, complimentary Fried Iced Cream & they sang to him! We also purchased the Fried Iced Cream, so delicious! It was the perfect birthday celebration! We still can’t believe that we’ve lived out here for 4 years , & never went to this place! This is now our favorite Mexican restaurant! Highly recommend!✨️

I’ve been dining here since they opened many years ago. While there have been occasional issues over the years, the food and service overall have usually been good.
Recently, though, my experiences have been disappointing. I came for lunch today (August 26, 2025) as well as last week and ordered the lunch chicken fajitas. They were prepared differently than usual, normally they’re cooked with a touch of oil to keep the chicken moist, but these last two times there was no oil, and the chicken was very dry.
Even more concerning has been the service. Once the waitress and hostess complete the basics, it seems their attention turns straight to their phones. Today I actually had to get up and walk over to the waitress with my water glass just to ask for a refill. There was no follow-up after my meal was served, no check-in, no offer to refill drinks. And I was the only customer in the restaurant at the time.
Will I go back? Possibly, but maybe to their other location instead of this one on 5th Street. If they don’t improve both the quality of the food and the level of service, I don’t see this location staying in business for the long run.

Went there for a birthday celebration and found that the portion sizes have been considerably reduced, although the food still tastes good. Their chips and salsa are as excellent as they always have been. We had Tacos de Carne Asada, Birria Tacos, and a Taco Salad Fajita. The corn tortillas have shrunk to about half size (4 mini tacos), and they now omit the Spanish rice from the Tacos de Carne Asada meal. A Jalapeño Margarita looked nice, but it was extremely watered down. Chocolate cake for dessert tasted like it came from a box mix (due to the texture), but it was made with good quality chocolate. The server sometimes spoke rapidly and mumbled, but was attentive. The visit was not as enjoyable as in past years, but at least the food is authentic.

We are here now, and this place is super dead and still takes an hour for Seafood Cerviche.
Had to get our own napkins.
We didn’t even get plates with our appetizers.

A “woman” named Sara or Sarah in the kitchen intentionally made my son’s food spicier than the recipe calls for. It was absolutely unnecessary and I was told this by another kitchen staff lady. Safe to say I will NOT be back as this’s extremely unprofessional and disgusting to do. Maybe you should hire people who know what they’re doing and not a bunch of clowns.
