Took my son here and they had live music outside. We sat and ate and had a great experience. The service was great and food came out quick. The mozz sticks were some of the best I ever had. Cobb salad was huge, could not eat it all. Fried pickles were also our favorite

Of the 37 years I’ve lived in the area, this was my first time visting the Alden Cafe. The place was empty and not much going on. We were there about 8pm on a Saturday evening too.
I’ve since been back a few times and have actually stayed to hang out and have some food. One major plus, they have fried pickles! I’ve also tried the buffalo wings (medium) and they are phenomenal!! Absolutely way better than the Jug Handle. The place seems to always be filled with the usual bar flies and sometimes service can be a bit slow, but we usually grab a table to ourselves and enjoy the food. Definitely give the Alden a shot if you’re looking for some good, local wings!!

Best hidden gem in Maple Shade! The staff are welcoming and friendly. The food is wayyyy better than expected. Try the buffalo egg rolls, Italian chicken sandwich and cheese steak with fries. Drinks are reasonably priced. A fun place to hang out to watch the game or bring friends. They even offer beer and seltzer to go. 10/10 highly recommended.

I took my son here on a Wednesday and they had live music outside. The staff came right over to us and got us started with drinks while we reviewed the menu. We order s few different things and everything was great. While we ate the staff came over to us plenty of times to make sure we did not need anything else. I highly recommend this place for a great meal and service. It is not in my neighborhood, but I will gladly make the drive to go there again. Plus, its next to an ice cream stand!!! For some reason my pictures will not post, but we got fried pickles, mozz sticks (best I ever had), cheese fries, panzerotti, and a cobb salad which was huge!!!

Being new to the area, we’ve been trying lots of local small biz restaurants and bars. Finally made it out to Alden Cafe and it was nothing short of superb! Sometimes it can be intimidating trying new bars as a new face but the entire staff was welcoming and friendly. The bartenders were attentive and we never waited for drinks. Food was great and made fresh! This will definitely be a regular spot for us from now on!
