What truly set this place apart for me is their commitment to ethical sourcing. I was pleasantly surprised to find that they don’t support Israeli products and instead offer authentic Palestinian goods. It’s refreshing to see a restaurant take a stand and remain true to its values.
Five star service, outstanding food, and a mission I deeply respect this is easily my new favorite Mediterranean spot in Indiana. Highly recommend!
Tender, juicy well spiced chicken cubes, perfect cooked rice, nice bowl of salad on the side. I didn’t like their white sauce though.
I found plenty of space, but waited around 25 minutes.
Nice place for dine in with a company to talk, but “don’t expect fancy place, other wise I loved the place.
We started with hummus and falafel, then moved to delicious Greek salad and lentil soup. The main course included lamb, chicken, and beef kabobs + 2 lamb chops (cooked with charcoal) over rice and a veggie garnish. For dessert we were given a mixed baklava treat for free!
Our waiter/host was a very nice young man who took great care of us even as the lunch buffet rush began to pickup. Drinks include Turkish coffee, various teas, bottled water (cooled) and soft drinks in a can (cooled).
Atmosphere is simple yet tasteful and connected to the grocery side view one set of double doors. Easily accessible bathrooms are in the back and since this location was in a strip mall, there was plenty of free parking.
We will definitely be back to try the buffet!
There was a huge selection of food. One section of the buffet had cold dishes like hummus and pasta salad. The other section had hot foods under covers. The restaurant was almost empty when we arrived and only had one other dine-in diner while we were there. However there were huge quantities of food. It looked like probably 3 or 4 times as much food as they could possibly need, based on the number of diners we saw. We arrived around 1pm, and their buffet ends at 4. Also, there was a pan of fish sitting out, neither being warmed or cooled by either buffet station. We had serious food safety misgivings.
The quality of the food was not great, either. The chicken was VERY tender, but had no flavor. The gyro meat was dry, and flavorless. It felt like it had been reheated many times, although my wife thought the taste was fine. The fish looked like tilapia in shape, but had the texture of very dry, overcooked chicken breast. I am not sure how you achieve that texture with fish. The hummus was good and the pasta salad was okay.
This restaurant has great reviews and we were excited to try for ourselves. However after making it past the first plate, I did not want to try any more. For a $20 lunch buffet, this left much to be desired.
