We had lunch with friends at Albasha Greek and Lebanese Restaurant on South Sherwood Forest Boulevard and it was very good. The atmosphere is casual with nice murals painted on the walls. The food is very good and they have a wide variety. Our server was friendly and attentive. A nice experience.

We came in from out of town so i could have my girlfriend try it for the first time ever. Our server, Carlos, was awesome. He was very helpful, funny, and fast.
Our food while dining in was phenomenal. It was so good that she decided to order a few things to-go.
We got home & she went to snack on some of her falafel & was so disappointed. They were all burnt and soaked in oil. They were nothing like what she was given when we dined in.
She ordered 6 of them. We both tried to eat one, but they tasted so bad, we spit them out & threw them away.
She was so sad cuz she couldn’t eat them.

Ordered for pickup. We had two combination shawarma plates. The meat was very dry and they only gave 2 pitas (cut in half). It would be 2 stars but the people helping me get my order were very nice.

The place was clean. It was not so crowded. I ordered take out and they prepared my order pretty soon. The portions are big. I’d say 2 plates would be good for 3 average people. The quality of the food was great. The staff had mask on (except one who was briefly in the area). So I would give them a pass on that front. The prices are reasonable considering the portion size.

I thoroughly enjoyed my meal. The server was very attentive. I plan to go back. The wait for my food was five minutes. Amazing!!

I’ve been getting takeout chicken shawarma salads from here for years. I’m really disappointed tonight to find that they started using much smaller boxes. The salad is now significantly smaller. I don’t know if it’s just temporary due to box supplier issue or if this is the new normal, but I’m not happy.

The food is absolutely 5-star! I love the halumi cheese appetizer and chicken/gyro combination platter. Everything is always perfectly cooked and seasoned. The restaurant is clean, and the wait staff is normal.

It’s funny that the day I come to leave a review someone has JUST expressed similar views about the owner. My family and I frequent Albasha Sherwood and Bluebonnet ALOT. We do not live in Baton Rouge so going there is out of the way. We order the same thing, a combination spinach salad with no dressing, fried cheese and broiled salmon easy garlic. I ask for the salmon cooked medium. Today we received a regular salad and flavorless, overcooked salmon with plenty of garlic. Even the fried cheese was overcooked. I called and the owner basically blamed me for not checking the food and implied that I did not order what I stated. His words were “what you order is what we make. ” Obviously not. He didn’t even apologize until I mentioned it. He said if I bring the food back they’ll replace the salmon only. No accountability on him or his employees for the mistakes. No customer service. They just lost a customer and he legitimately does not care.
*Update* We decided to high tail it back to Albasha before they closed to return the food since mine wasn’t edible. We got our refund without an apology or bit of empathy from those who were present. Bye Albasha. Roman’s is better anyway.
