The meatbal sub was fantastic! The pizza was good also , loved the vibes of the restaurant it self. Service was a little slow to start , took a bit to even acknowledge we were there , but once they did , everything was great from then on.

Wow! So so so yummy!!! We are visiting family in LaPorte, from Southern Ohio. We called and ordered pizza to go. The girl on the phone was the most kind, patient, considerate, and thorough person I have ever talked to when ordering food on the phone. She was equally as nice and smiley when I picked up the pizza. We ordered a 14inch pizza with pepperoni, bacon and sausage and it was so flavorful. The crust was crunchy and the pizza held together nicely. The placement of the pepperoni and sausage was so perfect and equally dispersed. We also ordered 10inch cheese pizza that was seasoned nice with perfect crust. I got a large side of ranch that was provided in a Styrofoam cup with a lid for about $2.50. You also get a cash discount. Very pleased and will be ordering again.

PIZZA:
A co-worker recommended this place and said it was the best pizza in town.
I ordered a double Pepperoni with Onions, its my go to. There was enough Pepperoni and o ions both, the crust is okay, not the best.
I always forget to order my pizza cut traditional slices. Indiana doesn’t cut that way.
Gave 3 cause I ordered togo. Place looked clean.
EDIT:
I went back to pick up a few sandwiches, two that the same co-worker recommended.. a hot & a cold one…
Both had a LOT of meat, but very LITTLE FLAVOR. .. the lettuce and onions were cut into chunks, and tomatoes small diced that easily fall tobthe wayside.. On the cold one, and the hot one didn’t have much else besides the meat.. imo, poor quality meat, not flavorful…

No supervision over the workers.These are young school kids that are Lurning I ordered from home went to pick up my pizza. And Italian sandwich and they didn’t even make my Italian sandwich. I had a explain over and over what I wanted on my sandwich. The kids were still puzzled. Adult adults need to supervise these young children. So they have a better understanding about the work environment food was good.

Visited here Th. Dec 29 2022 in the evening via the Laporte location. First time eating at this establishment in general, appearances gave it a nice Italian style restaurant. We ordered two sodas, French fries with cheese, pasta, and a large pizza with everything; we were told after five mins that the fries no longer come with cheese and that they would have to be out in fresh also, we confirmed we still wanted them. 40 mins later and we received the pasta and pizza and was told the fries would be ready soon. So the very first bite the pasta was super cold , and the sauce tasted acidic to the point I felt like it burnt my taste buds. We simply set it aside without touching it after the first bite. The French fries came out at this time and what honestly was odd is that I kept being told about the wait so they would be cooked fresh, and when I received them they were cold and way undercooked, like as if they were attempted to be cooked in a microwave (only an example) so I set them aside as well. What’s sad is we’re both polite people and my gf even more so, I will usually not say anything but when the majority of everything is ice cold and I’m waiting extra for it on top of it, it rightfully upsets me. However the pizza was good, it was missing some toppings but overall very good.
I understand all places have their nights per se, but I feel these situations were easily avoidable and being a first time customer I would most definitely not consider coming back , we used our one date night per week here 🙁 ….prior to paying our ticket the person next to us sent their food back as well I didn’t overheat the reason but what shocked me the most was whom appeared the be the chef, walked out of the kitchen and was discussing the matter with the individuals and he was wearing sandals , no gloves, and a good six day beard with no guard, for me such things as cleanliness and safety in terms of food being prepared to correct temps is paramount and in that regard my experience here was far from ideal, unfortunately would not recommend this place to anyone , gave 2/5 simply hoping my message helps change things …best of luck

Ordered take out sandwiches…..not good! No flavor and one sandwich the meat was left off!! Called and MGR said sorry! WTH……sorry? Albanos just lost a lifetime customer!!!!

Pizza was awesome the waitress was even better kept laughing through our order. Medium sized restaurant but enough space for the entire family. Highly recommend the Albanos master pizza.
