Decided to try based on the reviews, and it didn’t disappoint. I got the chicken, potato & cheese, and potato mushroom dumplings with the classic sauce and a side of sour cream, so fresh and super yummy. My mom got the beef strongaff and said it was delicious. The beet salad we cleaned the plate. The cabbage salad was good, but we just liked the beet salad a little bit more!

The food is great, authentic and tastes amazing, and the young lady who works there was extremely nice and helpful. She explained everything, answered all of my questions with a smile, and even served us the pickup directly to our car.
This place is highly recommended for both food quality, authenticity and extraordinary service and staff. Will come back 100%.

I can’t believe I was the only patron when I went, this place is a gem! I went on a Wednesday evening, 5:30 or so, on my way to a concert at White River Amphitheater. SO GLAD I chose this place. This was my first time. I love Ukrainian dumplings, and these did not disappoint! Like most good places, choose your fillings, the spices, and the sauce. I had 18ct chicken and pork, “Alaskan Classic” style and got sour cream to go with. I started with a Ukrainian cabbage salad which had great flavor, tartness from the fermentation, bit of crunch with the carrot and peppers was great for just the right consistency. I devoured the whole thing before my dumplings arrived! Then of course the dumplings were delicious, great filling, seasoning/sauce. I don’t live close, but if I’m ever within 15mi of this place I’m going to come by! Definitely will return here for more. They have takeout online ordering too!

Seriously worst tasting crepes I’ve ever had in my life. Smelled like playdo. Tried a bite & spit it out & didn’t eat them. Texture is so off also what in the name of”Alaska n Dumplings” suggests that it’s European food??? It doesn’t. Never ordering food from here again.

We were visiting in this area and had a late lunch on Saturday. We were the only dine in customers and several customers picked up their orders. Our server was very nice and helpful. We had pierogis and dumplings with several sauces. The food and sauces were delicious.

We visited again 6/8 and had more dumplings and beef stroganoff this time. The beef stroganoff is as if you had it at a Grandma’s house. It was so good! The beef was very tender and the veggies were cooked perfect. Can’t wait for the next visit ❤️

Great food. But seems like you gotta go on the weekend or maybe in the evening. I tried to get lunch here two days in a row (yesterday and today) and nobody there. Google says they’re open but apparently not. Tried to call the listed phone number, no answer. They have a “will be back” sign in the window with a time of 11:30 but no one there. They also have a lunch special sign outside so I don’t understand that. Kinda have to be open and serve people to have a lunch special. So great food and gets a 5 star for that and atmosphere but for service getting a 3 star since the time I was in here over the weekend service was great but trying to get in for lunch throughout the week is not possible apparently.

Stopped by with a friend after a nice hike by the river and was quite surprised. This place has some amazing authentic food! Had the Borscht & dumplings with some honey cake. Very flavorful and satisfying! Service was great & will be back again!

Please look past the front window stickers. The inside of the shop is clean and adorable, the food is excellent, we had the soup, dumplings and cake with a delicious cider. Truly a special hole in the wall place where you have to know to know. Highly recommend!!! So so great!!!
