You guys do NOT mess around when it comes to authentic flavors! Wow! I’ve had the Salmon à la Diabla and the creamy poblano chicken enchiladas and both of those blew me away with the spices and flavor! The queso and wings are also always a great start to the meal. Friendly staff, great atmosphere. Will definitely be back to try more!!

Overall, not a bad experience. Food was good. Drinks are decent as well.

Large menu for both food and drinks.

When I arrived, there were empty tables, but I was left standing, waiting while hostess left for 10 minutes to go check on to-go orders.

Amazing food. My wife and I have gone here 6+ times in the past few months and have never been disappointed. The birria is so, so good, I highly recommend it. The drinks are great too, and quite strong.

Call ahead if you’re thinking of going on a weekend night, the secret is now out about how good this place is.

Will recommend
Would come back just not top on my return list
Made reservations for 4pm for table of 4 glad I did this place is not very big but it was jammed no open seats
This was our once a year birthday dinner so we like to chat for a bit and we were given as much time as we like we spent a total of 2 hrs here eating and chatting
The noise inside the restaurant was chatty but not crazy loud there was music playing
The wait staff very friendly dressed properly and efficient
You get chips and salsa when you arrive I found the chips to have little to no salt
We ordered fresh guacamole for an appetizer and there was nothing extra in that edible though
The food came hot very large portions and it was true authentic and pretty tasty! I did post pictures but as for the names of the dishes I don’t have them

This deserves 5 stars and more. The food was incredible and the service was amazing. The staff are extremely friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. The food was fresh and came out quickly (on a busy Friday night). Not pictured is the Pastor shrimp tacos that were “the best shrimp tacos I’ve ever had” according to a party member. We will absolutely be returning!

What an incredible gem in downtown Manchester! Las Alas de Frida offers an inviting and vibrant atmosphere that immediately transports you straight to Mexico. From the colorful decor to the warm lighting, everything about the ambiance feels authentic and welcoming.
The food? Absolutely outstanding. Every dish we tried was bursting with traditional Mexican flavors, fresh, bold, and beautifully presented. It’s clear that a lot of love and authenticity goes into every plate.
A special shoutout to Daniel, our server, who was working solo during a busy time but never missed a beat. He managed multiple tables with professionalism, efficiency, and a genuinely friendly attitude. It’s rare to see someone handle pressure with such grace – he truly enhanced our dining experience.
If you’re in downtown Manchester and craving real Mexican food served with heart, Las Alas de Frida is a must-visit. Highly recommended!

Very cute hidden gem. I’d say Food is a 9/10. Legit. We loved everything. Drinks are a 7ish. Service is very solid. Was National Margarita day so I won’t judge it to hard. HIGHLY recommend the grilled haddock tacos. Wow. Unreal. If you like queso like me, ask for extra chorizo, was a little light there. Definitely will back!

They never took our drink order. No one asked us if we wanted anything to drink. So we drank water.

The quesabirria tacos were not great. 3 tacos (see photo) with meat and very light cheese. Some connsomè and i think avocado sauce or crema ? Idk. For $16 I expected more food. Perhaps some rice and beans ? Idk but The birria was uneventful at best.

The guacamole appetizer dip was outstanding. Very good. The chips were fresh and the salsa was very tasty.

The chicken bowls were good.

I only went here to try Birria tacos for my first time ever. I feel they weren’t a good representation of real Birria tacos.

The music is louder than I like but maybe that’s just me. It was lunch time. More people eating than drinking.

We visited Alas de Frida for lunch on a Wednesday afternoon. We walked right in and were seated immediately. We were the only people here for until another couple came in midway through the meal. The decor is trendy with cheerful music playing. It is guaranteed to put you in a good mood. The restaurant was clean and they provided extra napkins with the meal without being prompted.

The chips and salsa provided before the meal were good. They tasted like typical restaurant chips and salsa. Authentic, crunchy and we were offered a refill, again without asking, which we declined.
We had tacos and the birria noodle bowl. Both portions were hearty and very delicious. We took home leftovers. The noodle soup was rich and savory. The meat was so tender and flavorful.

Overall, we enjoyed the general ambiance and the delicious offerings at this restaurant. The menu is extensive and if our meals were and estimation, you can’t go wrong with your choice. Everything is bound to be delicious.
