So delicious!! All my friends got drinks and they looked delicious! They even had a margarita flight! I loved my meal and the presentation was beautiful too! I would definitely come here again.

We visited Alas de Frida for lunch on a Wednesday afternoon. We walked right in and were seated immediately. We were the only people here for until another couple came in midway through the meal. The decor is trendy with cheerful music playing. It is guaranteed to put you in a good mood. The restaurant was clean and they provided extra napkins with the meal without being prompted.

Great authentic Mexican food, although a bit toned down from the authenticity to be more approachable to this population, which is totally understandable. Great cocktails selection, though a bit on the weaker side. Amazing taste! Make a reservation.

I absolutely loved this restaurant! I am so pleased with everything from the Frida Kahlo aesthetic (I love how everything went with the art on the walls). I ordered the quesabirria, my boyfriend the al pastor tacos (they actually had pineapple in it and we were shocked)! It’s really hard to come by quality Mexican cuisine in area. Everything was well seasoned, and good sized portions. Not too much not too little. The drinsk are to die for! I got the PAPAZOTE & PALOMA. One I was done I was singing all the songs they played on the speakers lol. BTW the playlist is ON POINTTTTT 5 stars definitely going back and might even want to host my birthday dinner this winter there. Thank you to the owner for putting your heart in the right place when opening these doors. It’s now and forever going to be my favorite!

Alas de Frida has been open for about a week… Eric and team are doing an AMAZING job! Went for St. Patty’s day… the place was packed…. Service was EXCEPTIONALLY GREAT! They were friendly, welcoming and attentive to our party of 3 and recommend some pretty great drinks. I had the fresh strawberry martini … it was delicious… I also paired it with the Tacos De Birria … it had just enough spice and the consommé was delicious!

This is, hands down, my new favorite restaurant! Everything from the Tamarita to the Flan was absolutely perfect. The Tamarita was well balanced and the flan was super silky with just the right sweetness. The dish that really blew me away however was the Carnitas en Chile Verde. It had just the right amount of sauce to meat, was fatty and acidic in the best way and the blue corn tortillas were perfectly soft and pliable. The only downside was the lack of wait staff. Our poor waiter was hopping between tables and mixing drinks so we didn’t see a whole lot of him. He still did an amazing job, drinks were perfect and he checked in as often as possible. I will DEFINITELY be back!

The best Mexican food I’ve had in a while. The chimichanga was delicious..freshly made..not frozen out of a box. The waiter turned me on to birria..something I’ve never had before. The spicy margarita was on point. Tres Leches was served in a martini glass..very good.
