Hey ya’ll, it’s your OG MAW! This hidden gem, brought me straight back to the South. The bbQ melts, the sweet potatoes unlike no other, the mac-n-chz- tastes better than my Aunt Ruthie’s, and the banana pudding-the best I’ve ever had (their signature), the peach cobbler-better than mine! I ate it all, except for the desserts, just took a bite. The rest, I smashed! I fasted for 24 hrs. I already have my order in, for tomorrow! I’m hoping they’ll switch out some killer greens, for the mac-n-chz. I met the owner “Q” super nice guy! I’m getting a pic with him, tomorrow. Gave me a free pink lemonade, because I was a 1st-time customer. Again, unlike any other! Thank you,”Q”! See you tomorrow around 8:30! Can’t wait! I wish I could’ve ordered two!

Nice small bbq resturant, only a couple seats inside. Mostly for to go orders . Food is decent, and all the meat is pretty tender but the sauce itself is pretty one note and on the sweet side. Worth trying if you happen to be nearby and craving bbq but not anything special.

I went today as of November 15th, 2025 and ordered Ribs, Chicken, and Brisket. All of my meat was flavorless and overcooked. My yams had not an ounce of sugar. This was so disappointing to order, hopefully they begin to put some love into their food but this isn’t a good spit for barbecue at all.

Green beans were the perfect consistency, potato salad had a nice balanced flavor. Beef was nice and tender but still enough to enjoy the bite, the gold sauce is a nice savory bold flavor, imagine a glaze on a spiral glazed ham.

I was so excited to make it to get beef ribs on my lunch break and this was the WORSE meal EVER. I’m so disappointed. Never had beef ribs that was literally nothing but bones and fat. Truly a waste of money and I even placed my order as soon as they open. Never again

Personally got served by the owner and had a full sit down conversation that absolutely elevated my expectations and experience.
The food is absolutely amazing but the staff and the way they treat people is enough to have me coming back consistently!

Well this was my first and last time at this place! I walked in there was only one person in front of me and noone behind me. As I stood there pondering what to get the little Indian girl began to rush me,I said this is my first time,can I have a moment! Anyway fast forward I order she says 5-10 mins,I go back to my car. Comeback at time quoted and there’s now like 4 or 5 other people in there now 3 of which ordered after me and I ask of my food was ready and she began giving orders out to people who ordered after me. 10 minutes later I finally get my food. Well I can certainly tell ya that if I knew that the customer service was an indication of the food I would’ve ran! I got the turkey tips,which they claim to be famous for. They were dried out,very muscle textured when chewed and gelatinous from all the fat. The mac and cheese was the weirdest thing I’ve ever come across. The cheese on top laid in place like the skin off a scab. It was mushy due to it being overcooked, and it was brown in color(never seen that in macaroni and cheese)! The brisket was dry drowning in a pile of grease. The green beans were awful as well. I wanted to like this place so very badly,but the total experience was a huge disappointment. I called myself supporting small black oelwend businesses but I don’t think ots even black owned anymore!

Everything was awful. The food was tasteless. Mac& cheese was crusty, as if old & warmed over. Beef brisket was the worst part: instead of slices, I git shreds, as if they scraped the pan. Cornbread muffin was dry.
I ordered around 3:30pm. I feel like like I got pan scrapings that they should have thrown away. Why would they sell this unappetizing mess to anyone???
At the end, instead of being hungry, I was hangry. $46 ( for 2 dinners + Uber) wasted.

The food is great and I had great customer services. The owner was there working the front and was so polite. He even gave my son a cookie while we waited. Everything was delicious and even though they were out of ribs, they made sure I left satisfied!

The Turkey Tips really are killer. The Brisket is good. Those beans though gotta be the star of the show almost. Man those things slap. Potato salad was good. Cornbread was delicious. Sweet tea was made right.
Zero complaints here. I was hoping for Alabama White BBQ Sauce but it’s very regional.
