I ordered the Lechon Kawali (pork belly) and garlic rice. Amazing!

The pork was expertly fried to a crispy GBD (golden, brown, and delicious) and the rice was flavorful and a nice compliment. The vinegar dipping sauce was a good twist. 10/10 would recommend.

I also sampled the Lumpia (how could I not?) and they were everything I remember- crispy, flavor-packed with a nice sweet peppery dipping sauce.

The restaurant has a casual atmosphere, but the food is top quality like you would find in a white-tablecloth restaurant.

A sneaky star? The pickled cucumbers were possibly my favorite part of the meal.

Pro-tip: The owners suggested a little chicken oil in the rice and it was a nice addition.

Great food, service, friendly staff. Nice quiet atmosphere. If you’re Filipino and missing your country home food, this is the place to go.

Clean, good service, tasty food! We got lumpia, lechon kawali, and adobo. Some menu items felt too pricey. Still would visit again.

Flavorful, authentic Filipino fare of the Batangas region. Delicious and affordable. The service was spot on, and my Filipino wife satisfied her craving. Lumpia on par, Adobo rich, and the Halo Halo is amazing.

I met the owners a few weeks ago at a nearby Asian market and have been wanting to try their restaurant. We had the lumpia to start (OMG I could have eaten all seven!!), garlic fried rice and the skewered pork as a meal, and they let me try the beef broth to complement the meal. So much delicious food for lunch that I will have leftovers for another meal. The menu is detailed with photos and a description so you want to try even if you’re new to Filipino cuisine. I also had to try their seasonal dessert — reminded me of a dessert when I was growing up in Bangkok, brought back wonderful memories. My friend and I agreed we’d come back again and again!

This place is incredible! The food was so delicious and cooked to perfection. The family that owns it is so sweet, we got to the restaurant 40 mins before closing and torwards the end of the night they started eating their own dinner together and they shared a few things with us. It felt like being part of the family. Genuinely one of the best dining in experiences I’ve had in a long time!

I recently took a trip to Louisville for my grandfather’s passing.

My brother had really been wanting to try Filipino food, given that we now have some god-children in the family that are Filipino and we really wanted an authentic taste of the culture.

This place is absolutely magnificent. Let me start by saying that we came in roughly an hour before they closed; I’m always reluctant to come into a business so late, but they welcomed us with open arms and were such wonderful people.

I believe her name was Cindy, had asked us if we liked to sing, and started up a karaoke machine that we could all sing to while we were waiting for our food! It was such a lovely time to bond with my family over food and music.

The food was INCREDIBLE, I kid you not that it was likely the best meal I’ve had all year (and it’s October, as I write this). I don’t recall the specific dish that I loved so much, but it was a fried pork belly with a vinegar sauce to compliment it. Oh man it was unreal.

I cannot thank you enough for this amazing experience, these are such wonderful wonderful people and their food is just as good. Thank you for making our somewhat sad trip, much much brighter with your: good company, food, and music.
