Clean-which includes the bathroom.
Food is delicious. Ordered a meat tray for two. That was plenty for the 4 of us.

Also the lentil soup hot and the salad was tossed. Excellent and fresh.
The server (Linda) was great and her assistant was very fast and super friendly.
Pita bread and garlic was also good.
Btw. The owner came to us and asked if everything was good and a nice greeting when we came in.

My wife ordered a chicken salad from this establishment, but didn’t get the chance to eat it right away. When she noticed the quality had drastically declined—soggy lettuce, questionable appearance—she reached out to share her concerns. Instead of understanding or accountability, she received a verbal reprimand. Not once, but twice—over the phone and in person.
We understand that not every dish will be perfect, and we weren’t expecting miracles—just kindness and professionalism. Instead, we left feeling dismissed and disappointed.
So if you’re looking for a place that not only prepares food with care, but also treats you with respect, we kindly recommend Bucharest Grill. With multiple locations around Detroit, their salads are fresh, their chicken is flavorful, and their team seems to understand the art of hospitality. Dressing comes on the side—because they actually anticipate real-life scenarios.

For years this was my favorite place, but they have definitely had an ownership change, not exactly sure when, 18-24 months ago. Food now is nowhere near what it was. Fattoush today, dressing was all salt, no Romain just leaf lettuce that was kind of wilty, sandwiches were bland, and you can see it in the traffic. Used to be packed, plus a ton of carryout, traffic is a trickle, and they’ve tried to boost prices to make up for lower qty of orders. I’m crossing it off my list, too many other places like it with fresher, better food

I love this place. It is my go to whenever I’m hungry and need a quick bite. The service is always amazing, they have the best staff. Everyone here is so nice and hospitable. From the boneless chicken to the shawarmas to the fatoush…you cant go wrong with anything you order. I would definitely recommend this place to anybody it never fails me. Best middle eastern restaurant I know with the absolute best staff.
