My husband is from Nicaragua. He continuously complains about the Nicaraguan food and specially about the gallo pinto. Today he ate so pleasantly and deliciously that he plans to return again. He loved the chancho frito, los maduros and the queso Frito was superb.

As a Nica, I can say that this place has decent Nica food. The chancho con yuca is delicious! The Gallo pinto and vigoron is also worthwhile. It can get very busy so order ahead for pickup or arrive with patience.

The only reason im giving this a five star its because of the food. Prices are reasonable, very clean and spacious space. Only one waitress, which makes the costumer service very slow, but besides that, everything else its fine.

I go to this restaurant when I visit my family in Daly City. I like the food and the waitress is super nice. The restaurant could use a bit of improvement on decor but for a hole in a wall is not bad. The only reason I am not giving it a solid 4 stars is because the wait is too long. 45-60 min for food. Ofcourse I do know the food most be prepared and for Nicaraguan food I know needs to be prepare to order but seems a bit excessive of a wait specially when is not a big restaurant and does not get very full. I beleive the Capasity is 50 people(do not quite me on that). Point is food is good. Definitely continue going but wish the made a better effors to expedite food specially if your hangry. Lol

Nothing pleasant since we arrived, the young man did not even respond to the greeting we gave him, he only left the menu, the food was not bad, but the customer service was not pleasant at all

Nicaraguan food reminds me of my childhood. This place is the best in the peninsula. I’ve come here many times I’ve never been disappointed.

Pupusas had too much masa dough. Service was slow, and only a few tables were occupied.
