Unfortunately, had to wait 15 minutes to get a table due to lack of servers. When we were seated the servers seemed overwhelmed, and walked past us a few times. After finishing the meal, I had to wave to another server to get our check. The service itself was great, unfortunately not enough servers. Food was very good. This is a very good restaurant, just not enough help.

First time trying this restaurant and from the moment we walked in the service was excellent. Our server was super friendly and brought out bread and corn bread before we ordered and the menu was pretty large. We ordered the two entrées the Sampler BBQ Platter with Ribs, Pulled Pork and Chicken and Haddock Fish Fry. The ribs were fall off the bone but the pulled pork and chicken was a little dry. The haddock was not as crispy as I would liked, it was good but nothing to write home about. The prices are reasonable as well so if you are in the area and looking for some BBQ this might be the spot for you but I wouldn’t go out of the way to check it out.

They have amazing food. Service wasn’t great. Then be aware of you are sharing a meal, they charge you more then what it says on the menu. Nowhere on the menu does it state they charge more if you share, you’ll find out when you receive the check. I will never go back, there are many great BBQ places with much better service and don’t up charge for sharing.

Decided to try a new place 5/26 with my wife and brother and sister in law for our gender reveal. The food was mediocre but that’s not where my gripe is. The service we received was horrendous. We were not given bread by our waitress, actually midway through our meal another waitress came over and wanted to make sure we got bread so good on that individual. We never got asked if we would like more drinks, getting our bill was a serious hassle as we asked for a split bill and were advised that they “Do not split bills on weekends” and quickly walked away which we verified with another server that it was a lie which is no surprise as I’ve never heard of such a thing. Our waitress was one of the laziest I’ve witnessed. Since she walked away so quickly even though I was ready to pay she did not return for another 20+minutes so we had to have another server check us out and our waitress eventually came back with our card another 20 minutes later. Even if the food was phenomenal I wouldn’t even return here with how badly we were treated and lied to.

Al-E-Oops is a fantastic barbeque restaurant. I loved their ribs the most. Besides barbecue, I think the place is alright. The potato dishes aren’t the best. The place seemed short staffed, but everyone was very friendly.

Great small town vintage restaurant with a nice bar area separate from old style wooden dining tables, some chair and booth seats. Waitresses were pleasant to our party of 9. Refreshments and food came in a timely matter. Comfortable and quiet dinning. Good for family or a casual date. Variety on menu to fit any mood and the food is very good.

Been passing this place for a long time. My wife and I are always looking for new places, too eat out. So we decided to stop in. We where met by an older staff and where sitted right away. The service was amazing. Yea the reviews about older staff and bad service. I guess people will find something to complian about. But we where met with a smile., Suggestions on what to order and by the way the food was out of this world. Me and my wife had the BBQ plater. I had ribs, ham, and turkey. She had the chicken, ribs and pork. The platers came with Cole slaw, BBQ beans and a choice of potatoes. My daughter had the pork sandwich with a choice of potatoes. I also order a salad. The salad was made with fresh lettuce and vegetables. I have to say the food again was amazing. We left with left overs. Yea the staff might be a bit old but they did they where nice, they knew what they where doing. And to end this review we will be making this a new place to go to. Thanks for being there when we needed a new restaurant.

It seems there is nothing better to get your taste buds ready for a delightful meal than the smell of a bar b que smoke when you enter the dining room I had a Buffalo sandwich ,smoked turkey and ham on a nice Keiser roll. Paired with a cold Southern Tier IPA. Delicious. And I will add my wife enjoyed her hamburger.

Stopped by here for the first time in years… our server was absolutely terrific! It was amazing to learn that she’s worked there for 37 years. That alone should really tell you about this place.

Good food, but no substitutions allowed. Don’t allow parties to have separate checks. Service was absolutely terrible. Only 3 servers, 2 older ladies and a younger gentleman. There for 2.5 hours! Won’t return.
