1st time there. Green enchiladas were flavorless. Rice was the same. The salsa was good. The service was good. We ordered fried fish got grilled. Mom liked the grilled chicken and the charro beans. The menu prices are not right at all. Watch your bill we got 2 meals added to our bill.

Decided to try this place since it’s on my way home. The food was great and prices are reasonable. We went after lunch time so the place was empty. The wait wasn’t too long and the staff was friendly. I had the gordita plate and it did not disappoint.

It was our first time visiting the place we were super excited because we had heard Socorro has the best food. We were quickly disappointed I wanted to walk out once they took a very long time to bring our drinks. My daughter ordered an agua de Jamaica, my son an horchata, we went through the tostadas and salsa who were the best thing of all we had, and still no drinks. We saw a lady walk in with a bag of ice literally about 30 minutes after we ordered the drinks we figured they had I ran out of ice and that was causing the delay. Our issue is they could have informed us and offered us another option. Sodas, for instance were in the fridge and already cold. A little explanation always goes a long way.. Things happen we get it. Well we thought it would get better we ordered an appetizer it was not what we had asked for we got queso fundido with chorizo we got rajas instead. We didn’t complain we were very hungry by then, so we just ate it. Right after the appetizer our food, came my son ordered a torta the bread was cold very little meat not very presentable. Served on a French bread not a Mexican bolillo. I ordered an arrachera plate omg the tiny bit of meat was raw and most of it was that really hard part of the meat mostly fat the hard part though i’m not really sure what it’s called but it was not meat and I was never given a knife so it was very frustrating trying to get the most meat out of that so called steak. The plate cost me $15 or at least that was the price listed on the menu, I ended up not paying that because I complained after when I went to get my ticket and I was very upset with our total. The lady did give me credit for the steak plate and offered an apology. I had asked for Mexican beer both times they said they were out once I waited for them to bring it again a little longer than usual. I ended up asking for a lemonade. The lemonade was not good at all, but tasted more like water and sugar. I have added the pic of my arrachera plate.

First off, we arrived to an empty restaurant and were given minimal customer service. We sat at our table and waited for approximately 15min prior to being asked for our drinks and order. Later, stale chips and salsa arrived to our table. Then, a so called michelada was brought and it contained lots of ice and lemon juice only. I asked if that was a michelada was told yes, just not prepared!? I was told I needed to order a side of clamato to mix in? Few minutes later our meals arrived.. not the best presentation. The worse part was the pescado empanizado was a huge thick ball of bread with a side of soup that looked more like a giant piece of carrot and one whole potato. Needless to say that the meal they totally screwed up on was for my elderly father. I spoke with the female in charge and advise that was not acceptable and would only b paying it the drink and the chilaquiles that I ate partly cause I was starving. Totally disgusted with the whole experience! I have never left a restaurant this disappointed.

ordered some nachis and gordita plate, thought it was gonna be a simple plate but turned out to be bigger than expected. Really really good and delicious!!! and very friendly waitress too.. Will definitely be coming back 🙂

Burritos seemed to be left overs from the food they sell on the street across they’re own business !!! Plus they were expensive, not worth the pri$e. Cold Burritos with soggy tortilla is the gross.$26.00 for 3 Burritosand 2 cokes.. I am never going back!!!

Honestly I wa extremely disappointed, o orders a combination Clamato and it had ONE tiny chunk of carne seca it wasn’t even a full piece and 3 tiny shrimps. The Clamato tasted like straight up lemon juice that comes in a bottle. I had the shrimp ceviche and it had maybe 5 cut up shrimp chunks and the rest was terribly cut veggies , lastly I had an oyster shot and it tasted terrible, not the slightest bit of freshness and it was hard. Overall I paid 21 bucks just to walk out with an empty stomach. I would like to add they have only 2 young ladies maybe 20 at max working the whole thing , it’s so not their fault but the owners seriously need to give these girls some real ingredients. Extremely dissatisfied!!!

I order the pancakes with egg hashbrown and ham and i got all of that except the pancakes i got beans instead never got the pancakes i waited around 20 min for my food inside the restaurant it was only me and my husband and another person, but i thought its was ok…. well i took a taste of the hashbrown and it was so grease and as you can see on the picture my food was very under portion… the service from the waitress was very good i didn’t got charge for my plate i did return plate but i make sure to tip the waitress her service was on point its the food that i won’t go back!! On my point of view this is far from being a 4.7 star restaurant….
