I absolutely will recommend this hole in the wall to anyone I know!
When we arrived, we noticed there were already tons of orders pre-bagged, tied shut, and sitting out. When we asked for the special, they handed us a bag within one minute of standing there. I was holding the bag and immediately noticed it was freezing cold. I had informed my dad but he said it’s fine, we’ll just warm it up at home.
After a 15minute drive home, we opened the order and everything was exactly as I suspected: ice cold, stale, and clearly not freshly made. The fries were cold and stale, and the wraps were cold and bland. On top of that, we realized they did not include the meat shawarma wraps at all, we received only chicken wraps instead.
The fries also looked NOTHING like what was advertised. They were smaller, thinner, and looked like they had been sitting out for a long time.
We called the restaurant to explain the issue and the man on the phone was extremely rude and hung up on my dad stating they were ‘sorry’. We drove back anyway (another 15–20 minutes due to traffic) and asked for a remake for a freshly made meal including the correct items. Instead of remaking it, they tried handing us another bag that was already prepared and sitting out and told us to bring back the old tray (while we were on the phone previously).
When my dad insisted we wanted it made fresh, the owner/chef, (the old man, maybe named Mazen) came out and started yelling, screaming, and cussing, causing a whole scene, stating he could not prepare a fresh meal because he ‘had no time’.
We were being treated horribly simply for asking for the correct order and warm food. He brought a pre-packaged meal that was shut tight with the bag, manager to rip it open like some animal, and told us it was “fresh”. My dad touched the meal, and it was FREEZING cold, the same as before.
To make it even worse, they refunded us in cash even though we paid by card, and the young guy with glasses gave us less money than what we paid and basically threw it at my dad’s face, then told us to get out.
We left with no food, wasted time, wasted gas, and were treated with complete disrespect. All we wanted was basic customer service and the correct order.
I would NOT recommend this place to anyone. If you care about fresh food and respectful service, avoid this restaurant.
Pacha was not a good option, salad and soup were good,
For the customer service, you need to call the waiter multiple times to be respond..
Alazayam Restaurant truly captures the authentic flavors of the Middle East. Every dish is fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The meat is always tender, the hummus and dips are perfectly seasoned, and the portions are generous. The staff are friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere makes you feel right at home. Whether you’re stopping by for a quick meal or dining with family, this place never disappoints. Highly recommend the mixed grill and their fresh-baked bread
I recently visited this amazing Mediterranean restaurant with my big family, and it was an incredible experience from start to finish. The food was absolutely delicious, fresh, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned. Everyone at our table loved it! Easy 10/10
