Well even though I have eaten here before…tonight was my first time trying to get take out! Try is the key word b/c after calling in our order and driving over 20mins…I arrived and waited in line only to get to the register and find out that they didn’t have our order! When the young man at the register asked for the last four digits of my phone number to which I responded and then he looked perplexed so I gave him an alternate number and he replied with a snarky, “you should know your phone number”. Instead of offering to make our phone he just said have a good night! I guess they are so busy and don’t need customers. Guess it pays to be the ONLY hibachi express place in the big city! I would challenge you to not frequent this establishment. Next time I will just fire up my blackstone and cook my own hibachi.

Good food, but we had to wait 40 minutes to get it after we ordered. They were pretty understaffed, and it was a Friday evening for what that’s worth. The phone was basically ringing nonstop because the staff seemingly never had time to answer it.

The chicken hibachi from here is fantastic and the price is great. They have a 100 cleanliness rating as well which I love to see!

1st time eating here over the weekend. Very clean, friendly staff, and the food was delicious. I got steak hibachi and the steak was cooked perfect. The rice was moist and the vegetables was cooked very well. I will go back for more and I recommend this to anyone in the area or whoever is driving through Siler City.

The food is made fresh to order unlike other places. I had the steak and chicken. It was the best steak I’ve had from similar places. They always have a 100 score for sanitation. Sorry no photos, I couldn’t wait to eat!

EDIT (2020 May 25): The food here continues to be awesome a year after my first review. We just ate here again tonight! I still eat here and still recommend this place to anyone. Plus, I’ve noticed that every rating left over the past year is five stars!
I don’t understand all the bad reviews. The food here is great and the interior decor is much more like a proper sit-down restaurant than a spartan Japanese-style take-out. The people are friendly and I have never had an issue with my food. Ignore the bad reviews and give this place a try. They are doing a lot of things right and they deserve a much higher rating than they have been given.

I got the Hibachi Shrimp, gluten friendly (without soy sauce) and it was great. I was scared that the company would not be able to support the request for cooking my food with no soy sauce but they did and I am appreciative. They could not guarantee that it was gluten free due to shared surfaces BUT I was able to eat the entrée with no reaction. The young lady at the front was kind and understanding. I’m taking a star due to some of the veggies being over chared (minor flaw, no biggie) but they were seasoned and crisp, retaining their nutritional value. Thank you Akira!
