Our waitress had some difficulties getting our orders right but it was fixed in the end.
Aki Sushi is seriously one of my favorite spots! The food was absolutely amazing — everything tasted fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. You can tell they really care about quality.
The atmosphere is such a vibe too — fun, welcoming, and just an overall great place to relax and enjoy a meal.
Our waiter Jordan and the entire staff were incredible. Very attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed without us even having to ask. The food also came out SO fast, which made the whole experience even better.
Highly recommend Aki Sushi — we’ll definitely be back! ✨
-Build quality of the rolls very poor (see photos)
-Smallest portions of sushi I’ve had when paying $7/roll. Most other places the rolls are close to double the size
However, the sushi was disappointing. We ordered two rolls, and they were just okay—not bad, but definitely not great. The rolls were falling apart, and the flavors felt very plain, lacking any real depth.
Overall, it was a mixed experience. The appetizer was good, but the sushi didn’t meet expectations.
Plenty of parking.
We ordered Nabeyaki Udon and Pad Ki Mao (drunken noodles).
The Nabeyaki Udon was good but standard. The Pad Ki Mao (drunken noodles) was DELICIOUS!! It tasted exactly as I expected and hoped for :0)
It was not spicy either (even though it has a little pepper next to it).
I would definitely come back for the Pad Ki Mao!
I even didn’t finish it because it was a big portion and I look forward to eating my leftovers tomorrow!
The server was helpful.
The owner came out to check on how everything was going as well.
Their decorations are really cute and represent the Japanese theme well.
David was a very pleasant and professional server.
The dishes were out of this world, and some of the best sushi in the state of Michigan!
The drunken noodles are to die for and I would go back just for the drinks and dessert, they were so good!!
