Highly highly recommend!! One of my favorite places in Philadelphia that I keep coming back to for a long time. My go – to sushi spot in the city, after trying many. Excellent service, food quality, speed of service, portion size, and importantly cost-quality ratio!!
Everything is super efficient, which again makes it a great spot to visit on a tight schedule too. Whenever I need a quick lunch break, I can always rely on Aki that I will not spend time waiting and can stop by. Amazing to have a spot to rely on.
A special note about the people who work at Aki — attentive, positive servers and amazing manager Frank who keeps the energy high and everyone positive, and everything else on the highest level too. They also make sure to remember my small preferences, which means a lot at a place you visit more than once. David and Regina and are great too – always welcome me and also remember my preferences.
The restaurant atmosphere is amazing too, with good music, cleanliness, great decor and ambiance. A nice place to spend time at, especially when bringing friends. But I also love coming in alone whenever on a tight schedule and it’s great.
Highly recommend their all you can eat sushi and sashimi; variety of rolls and soups is high too.

We went here for lunch before heading to Ensemble Arts. It’s a great place within walking distance of the theaters there or City Hall. My wife and son each got bento boxes and I got a bag bun and an Osaka roll. None of us could finish even the lunch portions! The service was excellent and the food was delicious. Give this place a try for sure!

Was walking by and decided to just check it out. Came here on Thursday by myself and was very happy with my experience. I didn’t know it was even Happy Hour (4-7pm) The happy hour menu is a very versatile one in my opinion. Great portion sizes with a few different price brackets. I also had Salmon Bao Buns which were definitely my favorite thing that I ordered. Working in the industry myself I found my server to be very quick and friendly, giving me napkins without me needing to ask and quickly bussing dishes off my table as I was done with them. Will definitely be back!

My favorite place in Philadelphia to treat myself! Super welcoming staff, quick service, great quality, great ambiance. Special thank you to Frank for being very quick, attentive, and positive. Have been a regular here for a year and it is the one place in Philly that cannot be replaced even in NYC. Highly recommend if looking for a price – value excellence and quick, efficient service. Thank you!

I’ve been coming here for years with my mom! The staff is so friendly and accommodating, and the food is always fresh and decadent. Their happy hour/lunch special is great, but any time is a good time to visit. P.S. The Ramen is absolutely top-tier. Love it here!”

My friend and I had a good time at Aki Nom Nom’s. The service was nice and catered to our needs since we couldn’t stay too long. Shall definitely see if we can come back again to try their ramen

I did the AYCE sushi, and the overall quality was very poor. I ordered the Kobe roll, Osaka roll, tuna sushi, and salmon sushi. The sashimi appetizer was okay, but the rest was disappointing. The white rice had too much vinegar, and when it mixed with the ground spicy tuna—which already had a fishy smell—it tasted overly acidic, almost like vomit. The chicken dumplings were bland and reminded me of the frozen Chinese dumplings from Costco, which I’ve thrown away before. On the positive side, the service was good—attentive and polite.
