Pleasurable NICE! I hosted and decorated my son 30th birthday celebration recently and ALL I can say is the staff and our waiters did a PHENOMENAL job! The SERVICE from our waiters Cici and Kyle-(hope I got these names correct) were SUPERB! They both were BEYOND patient, KIND and stepped UP with “no” hesitation to help with decorate before my guest arrived. God KNOWS my SOUL is FILLED from their KINDRED spirit! Keep UP the EXCEPTIONAL work! The food here SPEAK for itself….Just DELLISH! One of my TOP dining places on Lake Conroe with GREAT views of the water. If you haven’t been HERE…All I can SAY is GET here! You DEFINITELY won’t be DISAPPOINTED!

My wife has been wanting me to come here for weeks and finally tried it. The service was great thanks to Ethan. People at the door were friendly and welcoming. Ordered edamae and came out quickly. Also ordered the family meal so we could try more items. The food was hot but not too hot. The quality seemed and tasted fresh and entrees came out quickly…almost too quickly that it did overlap the appetizers but it all worked out. Additionally the portions were great, so you had better be hungry. Price was also right. Had a great experience. The only improvement that would help is to have the staff clean the menu’s as they were a bit dirty. However, we will be back soon.

We wanted to have a lunch by the lake and accidentally end up at Akashi. Greatly surprised, food was great and service good. Location is safe and with a nice view to the lake and you can also seat outside.

Food was good and our server was nice! However, we had one major issue tonight. We made reservations at 8:30 for hibachi. The restaurants website and door (we checked) both say they close at 10. We sat down at 8:30, got our drinks by 8:35, then waited. We waited almost 50 minutes before one person in our group had to get up and go ask someone when the hibachi chef would come over. It was about 9:30 when the chef came over and we get our food at about 9:40. We ate, paid, and started eating our cake at about 10. At exactly 10:02, as we were wrapping up, our server came in and informed us that the manager said it was time for us to go. We were really confused, and our server told us that despite the website and the door saying they close at 10, they actually close at 9:30. I have a few issues with this as 1. we had to wait almost an hour for our chef. 2. There was NOTHING saying they closed at 9:30. 3. We were asked to leave as we were already wrapping up. As a former server, this really surprised me.

Oh my! So much yummy food! The sushi is so reasonably priced. I had the Shaggy Dog & salmon and it was delicious. My husband & I had hibachi, which he usually dislikes but he loved the food here. We will definitely return. Our chef Bobby was very entertaining as well. I really appreciated that the shrimp was cooked separately due to my nephew’s food allergy.

First off, I will say my family loves Akashi & we will return. But today we did have an issue with the food quality. We ordered several rolls, nigiri, and kids steak hibachi. All was great, except for the California roll. It had a very off taste that ruined it. My husband brought the issue up to our server and mentioned that it might be the cucumber. The waiter said that they had a batch of cucumbers that weren’t quite ripe and he was surprised that the kitchen wouldn’t have just thrown those out. My husband doesn’t like making a big deal of things so we just let it go. But we were surprised to see that after we left the rest of that roll uneaten and told him we wouldn’t be eating it, there was no offer to replace it. And we were still charged for it. I considered not posting this review, because we really do love Akashi and maybe we had a new waiter that hasn’t had a lot of customer care experience. But in the end, I feel if a manager sees this, this could be a learning experience. If a customer says the food isn’t good, make an effort to make it right. Servers name was Nick. Saturday 6/17, around 2pm.

Came here because two locals told us they like this place. We were shocked to see how big the menu was. In the end we ordered hot and spur soup, Seven Stars Around the Moon, Half Crispy Duck, and Happy Sumo Roll. The duck was boneless and came with some wrappers. The main dish had large scallops and vegetables. We were full after demolishing all the food in a very short time.
