Delicious food at this restaurant in Englewood offering Japanese, as well as Mexican Cuisine. We ordered from the Japanese food menu including grilled sea bass, chicken udon noodle soup (comes with shrimp and vegetable tempura), and several sushi rolls with interesting names (ie. bastard roll, pain-in-the-ass roll, good fellas, devils advocate) and some sashimi. The presentation of the rolls and sashimi is pretty cool. Service is excellent (thanks Mikey) and cool atmosphere.

This place is a 10/10 for me. I will say that they continue to remain with the idea of a hole in the wall which for me making an experience that much better. You will not see a big sign with their name but if you look close enough you’ll see their name on the windows. If you’re familiar with the Englewood location, they are located at the old Blue Moon location. It is divided with a Mexican restaurant (I didn’t have a chance to try just yet). I sat at the bar and our server was Mike who was a delight. I enjoyed my meal so much I did not get to take pictures but if you’re a fan of fresh fish, this is your place. The cocktails were delicious just as much.
If you’ve been to their other location in Teaneck which was just around the corner, you’d definitely agree that this upgrade for them was well deserved. It’s bigger, well designed and absolutely gorgeous!

It was really difficult to find the place. We were right near, but couldn’t find it because no building number and/or restaurant name. We called up, but it was still hard. Finally, staff came out to meet us. This place has just moved two weeks ago and the sign says something else. The atmosphere is bright and nice since all Japanese restaurants are dark inside. The food is good and fish was fresh, but my husband didn’t like the salad dressing because it was sweet. The check was surprise. I knew when I saw the menu, but way expensive. Other places offer the similar kind of food, but not that expensive. We will not go back. P. S. We had vegetable tempura appetizers, deluxe sashimi and sushi for two besides the salad.

The drinks are amazing you have an option to choose from aisian themed to Mexican themed drinks and they dont disappointed. They are a must try. The apple peach drink on the Asian side was light and sweet at the same time
You should visit this place because the food is amazing it is an infusion of both cultures and is lively and the kids love it here as well. My kids enjoy the Shirley Temple drinks

This is a Japanese sushi restaurant. It was a nice clean environment with a warm atmosphere. We were quick to get seated. Order was taken hastily. Ordered rock shrimp tempura for appetizer. It was very good, especially with the cucumbers on the bottom. I ordered sushi and my wife got a fantasy roll. The food was very good. Very high quality fish.

The ambiance here is mellow and moody and the accent of red is nice at night. I ordered the seaweed salad it was ok, I’ve definitely have had much better. I also ordered a Chilean sea bass entree which was excellent! I got 2 specialty sushi rolls: the pain in the ass and the kiwi roll. The pain in the was was very good but the kiwi rolls was lacking character and flavor. The waiter was fine nothing too special but the weird part was how the owner was so involved with the table next to us. He literally waited on them hand and foot and didn’t acknowledge anyone else in the restaurant. If was very mafiaesque. It started making us feel like we didn’t matter because of how much attention he gave them.

Our waiter Alex needs a raise. He was so amazing, he was very funny and thoughtful, and didn’t rush. We had the nachos and spicy corn which were good. The atmosphere was good too. But the service was outstanding.
