Truly authentic Japanese food. The staff is friendly. Atmosphere is pleasant. Food is amazing. This is my husband’s favorite spot and we have never been disappointed by anything during any visit. We always leave full and happy.

Such a great sushi place! I’ve been a couple times over the years and it’s always so good. The menu is HUGE, the food is amazing and the service is attentive. I love coming here when I’m feeling nostalgic for Japan.

Came here for lunch since work was nearby, it was empty so I sat at the bar. Staff were nice, and the food was okay.
I like that they serve japanese beers here, nice to see Orion on the menu so I got a bottle and then ordered some uni, toro, and chirashi.
The uni was expensive for being California urchin. $20 for 2pcs, I’d hoped for better quality urchin. Toro was okay, but not the highest grade I’ve had either, especially for the price $15. Chirashi was all right, I was surprised to find kanpyo in it; I dont find many places that serve it, it’s a cheap vegetable but a favorite of mine. Overall the fish was okay, definitely not top grade, but decent. What I can’t quite forgive was the overcooked rice though, it really put a damper on any enjoyment.
Overall a rather expensive place for a low quality.

Food is amazing. My new favorite spot. They take their time, make it right. This past time I got the aloha, and it looked amazing. Flavor was top notch. You don’t stay in business for over 20 years by doing it wrong. Life long happiness to the owner and family

I love that they have vegetarian options! The food is very good. I think I’ve tried all the veg stuff and I’ve been happy with all of it.

At first walking in it took me back to my days in Japan and you are greeted in traditional Japanese. Staff is very nice and accommodating. Delicious all around, from the Miso soup, Green Tea and sashimi and sushi. Will definitely repeat! When I paid I was given an Origami Crane beautifully crafted. Good amount of Parking and they have an outdoor patio (after the summer is gone) you can enjoy.

Love coming here for date night! I came in at about 8:45 and was happily greeted by the server who was more than happy to take care of us. Which was shocking because it was 15 minutes til close! The food was hot and ready quickly, we were not rushed. I wish I remembered the gentleman’s name but thank you to him! We had a great time.
Also it can get very busy and feel a bit cramped when the rush comes through other than that I’ve never had a bad experience. Lovely staff.

We spent a very pleasant evening here and enjoyed some great food! All of the sushi and nigiri we tried today was great, especially our favorite is Aloha and mistake. Takoyaki could be a little bit better but still good 7/10 it’s just we had a better one in Gilbert, that one was 9/10. Anyway, the atmosphere was great, service was good and friendly, we really enjoyed this place. Thank you

Honestly I love this place and my entire family has been going to this restaurant for the past 10 years. It’s definitely a hidden gem and very mom and pop style. The owner has been making just the best and above all affordable happy hours which is so incredibly hard to find. It’s so sad to hear all these negative reviews on the servers, the food is amazing. Above all their quality in sushi stays consistent. I have been going here consistently the past 10 years and have never ran into issues. We love sitting at the sushi bar and requesting directly from the chef. The food is amazing and the Takoyaki is exactly similar to the food I’ve tasted in Japan.
As someone that has traveled to Japan many times, this place serve many traditional dishes not only sushi! I love the variety and honestly how authentic it is. This is definitely not a gentrified restaurant and your chef is quite literally japanese making your meals. If you’re local in town and looking to support asian business owners stop by for happy hour!!
