Had Aka Sushi for dinner tonight with some friends, first time here! The atmosphere was pleasant & inviting. I ordered the chicken fried rice. It came out quick & was excellent I even caught “Chef Antoine” as he was coming back from the restroom. I tried to flirt, lol, but to my surprise he kept it extremely polished & respectful as he kindly told me he had a wife. I am floored with the professionalism & courteousness of the whole staff! I will return soon, without a doubt. 5 stars!! ❤️

Honestly, I was trying to think of what to say about this experience, but all I can come up with is the word fantastic. Kayoko was fantastic, every different thing we tried was fantastic, the vibes were fantastic. Get the Aka Tower, get the truffle Toro, get it all. I appreciate y’all for making this such a great experience. There’s a lot of bad things in the world, but not here, not tonight.

We came on Valentine’s Day and had such a lovely time. The food was delicious and the service really stood out. Even though it was busy, the staff kept checking on us and apologizing for any wait — we honestly never felt neglected.
They also let us know upfront that each couple would receive free mochi for Valentine’s Day, which we enjoyed. We also ordered the fried cheesecake, so we ended up having two desserts — both were amazing. Since we added the extra dessert at the end, there was a short wait, but another lady (possibly the owner) came by to greet us and surprised us with two chocolate-covered strawberries.
What really impressed us wasn’t the sweet treats, but how genuinely caring and attentive everyone was.

Sushi i got was the Thai Chili sushi which was amazing! 10/10 would definitely recommend if you like spicy raw sushi.
I went with a simple shrimp fried rice to just try it out. It wasnt horrible, not was it the best. It can be cooked with a lil more soy sauce but over all experience was a 9/10

My family went to Aka Sushi to celebrate my daughter’s 18th birthday and she had a wonderful time! We ordered the yellowtail kama appetizer which was delicious and succulent, the Aka boat that was loaded with sushi rolls, nigiri, sashimi, and tempura (veggie and shrimp), and fried cheesecake (complimentary). The service and atmosphere made the experience more enjoyable!

Best sushi in town! Ideal place if you are looking for quality sushi, good cuts, and specialty drinks. The atmosphere is very personal and the staff is awesome! They also have cooked food for anyone who does not like sushi. My family loves it here! It’s located downtown, so my husband and I often have date night and then enjoy downtown afterward! I recommend this place to locals and visitors alike! Aka, never disappoints!

The food is as excellent as the service. Very clean and inviting atmosphere and super friendly staff. The sushi took a little longer than normal to make but everything is premium seafood and worth the wait. Prices are very reasonable. I’ve paid double for sushi half as good in the past.

The food was absolutely amazing, I got the Boston. There were seven people in our party and everybody was very pleased with the taste. The service was good, however it took us about an hour to get our food (so it wasn’t our server, just the length of time for delivery).
