This is a good spot for cocktails and South Indian food. We had lunch there on a weekend and found ample seating. Some dishes had smaller portions, while others were generous. The waiter seemed unfamiliar with the menu.Mutton dishes were good , chicken dishes were pathetic . The tandoori chicken was probably older than me . So food is a hit an miss . However I feel it’s a good place for friends to hangout and have drinks .

I had heard several positive recommendations, but personally, I didn’t find them accurate. For me, it’s a place worth trying once, not a spot I’d return to. I hope they focus on improving their food quality, as that could make a big difference in customer satisfaction and encourage repeat visits in the future.

Horrible food and service is so poor. The live music was great. We ordered Amritsari Paneer tikka, Dal Makhani and palak paneer with Creamy Alfredo pasta for kids. The food was 3/10 nothing tasted good. The server never came with water till we asked. They didn’t come to take used plates away; didn’t offer cutlery. They have so many cuisines offered on their menu that ultimately none is good. Not a good business strategy, rather focus on one or two cuisines and be the master of it.

Me and my son decided to checkout this place today. I heard about it from other friends that its a good restaurant. I thought its another typical Indian restaurant and never tried to go there. For our surprise the ambiance is awesome . The food is great. They have a great list of fusion varieties and with a pinch of its own flavor. If you are bored of going to a a restaurant and you can try AK lounge, I am sure you will not be disappointed. Cool music and great service. I am adding this to my favorite places to go again.

Took my family here for dinner. The food is amazing. Chef recommended Honey Chili Water Chestnuts, I normally don’t eat chestnuts but the flavoring was so good. Overall, food is very tasty and service is awesome. Best garlic naan I’ve had! Huge menus with lots of varieties. Staffs are very friendly. Great place for friends and family. Highly recommend to visit!

We ordered Mushroom Pepper Fry, Honey Chili Water Chestnuts, and Masala Salsa Papad — all three appetizers were packed with flavor and clearly prepared with care and attention. For the main course, we had Methi Malai Paneer, which was rich, flavorful, and the paneer was perfectly soft.
We paired it with Garlic Naan and Bullet Naan — both were thin, well-cooked, and complemented the curry beautifully. The overall meal was delightful. The only area for slight improvement would be the Masala Soda, which could use a bit more balance.
For dessert, don’t miss the Baked Cinnamon Jamun — it was an absolute highlight!
Service by Sam was courteous and attentive. One small suggestion: consider using lighter glasses for water.

Loved the food, the service, the ambience, and the live music performance during the weekend nights.. very friendly staff and a great chef that can cater to multi cuisine choices, Indian, Asian and Italian all under one roof!!
I heard from the restaurant owner that Teppanyaki experience is coming soon…can’t wait…
Last, but not the least, the cherry on top is the bar with full array of cocktails, and cocktails also available!!

AK Lounge & Grill is fantastic. I’m a foodie and love Nizam-style food, and it’s amazing to have such authentic flavors right in my neighborhood. I’ve visited multiple times with family, friends, and colleagues, and everyone has loved it. When my colleagues from Hyderabad came, they were genuinely surprised by the quality and authenticity of the food. The Nizam dum biryani, Peshawar chicken curry, soups, egg fried rice, and kebabs are all excellent. It’s also become my daughter’s favorite restaurant—she craves the food, and it’s the first place we go when she’s back from college. The owners are very hands-on and treat guests with utmost care, which makes the experience feel even more special. They also have live music on weekends, which makes it a fun place to enjoy great food and just chill out. Highly recommend!

Additionally, the music was quite loud, which made it uncomfortable—especially since our kids were already tired and getting cranky. It wasn’t the most family-friendly environment in that regard.
Overall, while the food quality was satisfactory, the slow service, loud atmosphere, and lack of adequate staff made the visit less pleasant. Hoping they improve their service and overall experience in the future.
